As much as I didn’t want to do it, there is NO way I can’t pick “choosin’ Texas” as the music backdrop - it just was a little too perfect. BUT this watercolor is based on Wyoming pic and my love for WY and MT. So whatever you want it to be - is what it’ll be!!!! Typically I don’t paint a specific western pice but this is definitely western. I hope y’all enjoy it. #texas #choosintexas #westernart #cowboy #cowboys

It truly is all on Gods hands. Telling my story to strangers, over and over again, it hits even harder—my life has never been in my hands.

Every time I’m reminded of this, a rush of relief floods through my body, shivers circulate, and the tightening in my rest is released.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Time & time again I’ll emphasize: let your family photos look like Your! Family! By all means, go for the sharp clean outfit that fits (& doesn’t clash too much), but let your crew have FUN— and in return end up with photos that truly reflect your family in this season. Saddle the horses, bring the dogs, let the kids get a little dirt on their jeans (it truly won’t ruin a photo!), let them play and run a little wild. Make family photos a breeze by integrating as much of what fuels your family as ya can!

It’s more than a joy to get to capture so many of your family moments, and to talk with and marvel at a wonderful new generation of ranch kids who are more than often handy as they come, wise beyond their years, funny, and KIND! The Nettleton boys are no exception to such a list. Too special to see friends raising great human beings WELL and bringing so much hope to the future of our way of life. (& always a treat to head up to these guys’ beautiful patch of the Fort and catch up on life!!)

The cowboy way of life isn’t just a style. It’s a heritage. 🤎

A little grit. A little grace. And a whole lot of tradition.

Our Heritage Collection celebrates the spirit of the American West with original designs on luxurious 100% silk. 📸 @molly.v_ @lindsay.nettleton

Some traditions are worth keeping. Others are worth wearing.

That little cowgirl I used to be would be screaming if she could see the life I get to live today. The husband, our three beautiful boys, the horses, and a life I used to only dream about. Everything I ever hoped for, and so much more than I ever could have imagined. Little me would be so proud. 🥹❤️

Glory to God!
First 2D run in a long time for JTF Easy Like Silk and I! We were one hole out of the money but we were over a second faster than the last time we ran here. He definitely still has more speed to give but I’m so happy he’s getting his come back! God answers even the smallest of prayers. ❤️

Raising them tough enough to face this world, kind enough to make it better, and humble enough to never forget where they came from.
