Golden Arc Champion alert!

The 2005 Arc belongs to The Cadets, and so did the title. The Arc rewards the biggest climb from debut to Finals. Winning it in the same season you take the championship is a Golden Arc, one of the rare ones in the series, and the Cadets did exactly that in 2005.

The 2007 Arc belongs to The Cadets. From a 70.700 debut to 97.025 at Finals, they climbed +26.325 · the biggest growth in the field · while the Blue Devils took the title. They topped the Arc again in 2011, that time a Golden Arc.

Golden Arc Champion alert!

The 2011 Arc Championship belongs to The Cadets, and they pulled off the rare double, the biggest climb and the World Championship in one season.

From a 71.050 debut to 98.350 at DCI Finals, the Cadets rose +27.300, more than any corps in the field, and capped it with the title. That makes 2011 a Golden Arc, the rare year the top climber also takes gold.

One of the final lot videos of @thecadets ever filmed and the final lot vid that @drumlineav captured of them. Never thought I’d see The Cadets disappear. They will be truly missed. What an incredible organization! Thank you to all of the Cadets alumni and your contributions to the Marching Arts! The corps may be gone, but your legacy will never be forgotten! ❤️
