When I worked at my first software job, my CEO @davemartingray told us about how he would take his kids on trips around milestone ages. I didn’t even have kids at the time, but I loved the idea of quality time with your kids in a new city. Our ages for trips are 5, 10 and then senior trip. There are only 3 rules for the trip:
1. It has to be somewhere you’ve never been.
2. It’s based on your kid’s interests at the time.
3. Kids get to pick the location (within reason). To be honest, I thought I’d get a New York trip out of this 🤣 but like her Mama, all Cora wanted to do was be at the beach. So explored Charleston and stayed right on the water in Folly Beach.

It was truly a trip I know we will never forget. I loved spending quality time with just my Cora girl watching her do what she loves: building sandcastles, frolicking in the ocean, doing stunts in the pool and enjoying a fancy tea. I love you so much Cora, and I had a blast with you. And still impressed you ate those oysters 🦪
