4 years ago today, basketball fans lined up outside the Crawsover Pro-Am at 3 AM after hearing LeBron James would play his first game in Seattle since he played the Sonics in 2007.

About 3,000 fans made it into the gym (thousands were left outside) to watch the 6 PM game featuring mixtape legends LeBron, Jayson Tatum, Aaron Gordon, Dejounte Murray, Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Tari Eason, MarJon Beauchamp, and Isaiah Thomas. The game was called after a quarter and a half due to a slippery floor.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Blake Griffin are a few other NBA greats who have played in Jamal Crawford’s Pro-Am league. And hopefully, the NBA will bring back the Sonics soon.

Gillie Da Kid Wants To Play JJ Crawford, Other NBA Sons 🏀🔥

Gillie Da Kid isn’t waiting on Jamal Crawford anymore — he’s calling out the next generation instead.

“Jamal Crawford don’t want it with me, so I don’t want it with him anymore — I want it with JJ Crawford. Where’s your son at? All the dads that got sons that’s good — I want Bryce James, I want JJ (Crawford), I want little Stack, Rajon Rondo’s son (Pierre Rondo Jr.), I want Kiyan Anthony, I want the twins (Isaiah and Carter Barnes). Who else? Shaq’s son — yeah, I want little Diesel, baby Diesel. Who else? Alright, I want all the babies. Your pops running from me, so I want the kid.” 👀
