POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a beautiful morning. 💛🎨

Today’s 2026 Art of Breastfeeding Brunch & Exhibition brought together art, families, community, conversation, food, little ones running around, and so much warmth.

I was honored to return for a second year to support BreastfeedMIAMI as curator, helping bring together this year’s exhibition and the stories behind the work. We featured 18 artists and 25 exhibition entries, with many artists creating new work specifically for this year’s call.

One of my favorite parts of the day was moderating a short artist conversation and hearing directly from the artists about the lived experiences, ideas, health issues, family connections, and moments of tenderness behind their work. And it was especially good to have so many of our exhibiting artists there with us today.

Congratulations to our People’s Choice Award recipients:

🥇 Joanne Hampstead — Safronia
🥈 Alana Rae Shir — Deep Blue Love
🥉 Joselyn Sira — The Whole World in Your Arms

And much love to every participating artist whose work helped tell this year’s story. There were so many beautiful, thoughtful and very different interpretations of breastfeeding, support, family and community.

Thank you to BreastfeedMIAMI for inviting me back, and to everyone who came out, shared space, asked questions, met the artists, voted, ate, laughed and spent part of their Saturday with us.

Art. Community. Families. Stories. 💛

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, the DJ played this version of Magalenha and it was exactly the energy. 🇧🇷✨

Happy Monday ✨😉All!

Some quick thoughts on #Meditation … it’s #MeditationMonday & I am combining this with saying hey 👋🏾 to the #coffeecrew ☕️ ..

A quick point of clarification David didn’t actually say. “Joy” .. however the gist was that. Emotions are often like “Unexpected Guest” … invite them in as they all lead to deeper understanding of self …Well that’s what I got out of it any way 😉..

Do You Meditate 🧘🏾‍♀️

“I came in very open, very intentional, ready to receive, ready to give and I got everything and more.”

A true experience and testimony is all we can ask for. Our intention is for you to receive and give as much as you feel is needed. For that to resound within you and around. Thank you so much to our attendees and veterans! As well as our facilitators for doing this work.

May these words resonate with you. See you at Deeper Experience.
