Cleaning up after Christmas? ⭐️🌲⭐️ Here’s my strategy as a mom of five: Put out a laundry basket for each child, and have them put their gifts right in! It makes organizing and transporting the gifts much easier and gives your children a role in the clean up. 🧺 We had these baskets out yesterday while they were opening gifts, and it kept our day much more organized and clutter free. This is also a great year-round cleanup tip! When the house or playroom gets too messy? Put out the laundry baskets! Share or tag a friend who needs this tip today! #christmashacks #christmas #christmaswithkids #christmascleanup #organization #momhacks #motherhood #motherhoodunplugged #momof5 #cleaning #kidschores #christmasgifts

Despite my controlling demeanor especially in terms of the decor of my house, I was very hesitant to cover Pax’s walls in his art per his request. Inside I was thinking “could we frame a couple with white matting?” We could switch out the art here and there...but he has such a creative personality and I imagined someone stifling that in me. So, I hung the art. It looks adorable. He is beaming and so am I. 🖼

Maybe just maybe if I hide in the bathroom they won’t find me...they’re like little T-Rex’s. If I stay reallllly still they can’t see me, right? Seriously though. Some days are harder than others. Making the transition to stay at home mama/momtrepeneur was what felt right for my family but maaaan the days are long (but the years are short). Taking a second to breathe and pretend I’m “going potty” while double checking to make sure the door is locked before those little dinos barge in. 🦖

Last month, the sweet @lindsaymariephotographynh took #frontporchproject photos of our family. I promised to #payitforward and did so by offering the same to some of the most amazing women, mothers, and friends I know. They’re leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, academics, and teachers. They support me. They listen to me. And they inspire me. I’m so lucky to have these women in my tribe and appreciate the different things they each bring to my life. I wouldn’t want to do #motherhood without them. . . . #motherhoodunited #motherhoodunplugged #motherhoodrising #motherhoodintheraw #womensupportingwomen #ittakesavillage #momtribe #momsquad #findyourtribe
