As a podcaster, walking into @podfestnaija felt like coming home. ❤️

It was a room full of people sharing stories, celebrating their interests and connecting with others who just get it. A reminder that community can start with something as simple as a good conversation and a space where people feel free to have it.

One of my favourite things was seeing podcasters, creators and storytellers come together to celebrate the power of podcasting and, of course, a good gist. 😂❤️

It takes a village to make CreativiTEA happen🥲

A typical day for CreativiTea is basically, do this, while doing that, while remembering that you still have to do the other thing. Multitasking is definitely a job requirement for the team😂

So if the entire team including myself as the host, has to be in multitasking mode, my phone needs to understand the assignment too.🤷🏽‍♀️

The Galaxy Z Fold8 has honestly been such a handy addition to those busy shoot days. The bigger screen + flexibility just makes moving between things feel a little less chaotic.

Anyway, this is what a day as the host of CreativiTEA looks like with 3 shoots in one day!

A village, a little bit of uncertainty, but somehow… we get the Tea ready. ☕️✨

First things first "elitist" wasn't quite the right word 🫣 ...and I should have said 'some', but the point I was trying to make still stands.

Do you think we have a culture in Nigeria where people are willing to pay ridiculously high prices for things mainly because owning them makes them look rich?

I’m not talking about paying more for exceptional quality, craftsmanship or something you genuinely love. I mean paying an outrageous premium simply because the price itself has become part of the appeal.

Almost like the more expensive it is, the bigger the flex.

Are we paying high prices because we value the product....or because we want people to know we can afford it??
