An incredible conversation with Katharine Graves @kghypnobirthing talking all about hypnobirhting on @the_pregnancy_playbook

Katharine is the founder of KGHypnobirthing, a method that has transformed the way thousands of women and families prepare for birth.

Her passion for empowering mothers with knowledge, calm, and confidence has reshaped birth experiences across the world, and her work continues to ripple out through generations of midwives, teachers, and parents.

Since recording I have also trained with Katharine and offer my Co-Creation for couples looking to work together on this journey together into family life.

WOOHOO 🎉
Under this goddess Virgo full moon 🌕

Listen up... @djgoldierocks from @virginradiouk to the @zizzy.podcast.house!

On this episode of THE PREGNANCY PLAYBOOK Sam Hall steps into the studio… and what unfolds is pure alchemy.

A mother, Virgin Radio DJ, Global Disco Goddess, Party anthem enchantress, Broadcaster and Founder of IO Project @ioprojecthq (and friend of 20+ years) she came to talk more about the power of sound and her own relationship with it through her expansion into motherhood.

Sam and I met at Goldsmiths many moons ago and stood together in our final degree show. We have gone through many of life’s initiations (and sticky dance floors) and now find ourselves supporting and holding space for mothers;

Through sound.
Through story.
Through ritual.

Join in the conversation as we talk all things music, vibration and the importance of taking care of the mama.

I can’t wait to hear what you think!

🎙️MIDWIFE CHAT 🎙️

We meet midwives at some of the most intimate moments of our lives… but do we ever truly know the person underneath the uniform?
In this episode of The Pregnancy Playbook @the_pregnancy_playbook , I’m joined by Amy Houghton, a midwife whose story might surprise you. Before stepping into birthwork, Amy earned a degree in physics, gave birth in India, and developed a deep belief in holistic, whole-person care.
She’s not just a midwife. She’s a woman who has lived, questioned, explored, and created a completely fresh approach to antenatal education that blends science, intuition, and real-life wisdom. @theamiableapproach

In this episode, we explore:
→ Who midwives really are behind the training and scrubs

→ How Amy’s physics background shapes her understanding of birth

→ What giving birth in India taught her about care, culture & physiology

→ Why she built her own antenatal method and what makes it different

→ How holistic care and evidence-based midwifery can work together

→ What parents actually need to feel held, informed, and confident

This is an honest, human conversation that takes you beyond the standard antenatal class and into the heart of what birth support can be when we see the full person behind the profession.

If you’ve ever wondered what your midwife believes, what shaped her, or how her life experience influences the way she cares, you’ll love this episode.
Perfect for anyone preparing for birth, choosing antenatal classes, wanting midwife-led insight, or looking for a more holistic, human approach to pregnancy preparation.

Let me know what you think

THIS ONE IS FOR EVERY WOMAN WHO WANTS TO FEEL POWERFUL IN BIRTH. 🔥

In this episode, I’m joined by the brilliant Megan Rossiter, founder of Birth Ed @birth_ed and host of the UK’s top pregnancy and birth podcast, The Birth-Ed Podcast.
We’re diving deep into the real power of high-quality birth education and why it matters now more than ever.

❊ Why has antenatal education become so diluted?
❊ What do parents actually need to know?
+
❊ how does real understanding translate into calmer, safer, more positive births?

When two birth geeks get together… well we get chatty!

We talk informed decision-making, confident partners, building true self-trust, and why knowing the “why” behind your choices can completely transform your experience.

→ If you’ve been drowning in advice…
→ If you’re unsure what actually matters…
→ If you want some serious truth bombs …

This episode might just be the one where everything clicks.

🚨📣COME CLOSER. 📣✨🚨

I’ve just released the first ever episode of The Pregnancy Playbook today - birthed at IMBOLC with the light turning bright and I’m saying this with my whole chest thrumming: this conversation might change the way you feel about birth forever.
I’m in deep, delicious conversation with the iconic @milli.hill talking positive birth, women’s power, and why your body is not broken, dangerous, or something to “manage”.

🔥 positive birth (yes, it exists)
🔥 the power of women (spoiler: it’s huge)
🔥 why fear-based birth stories are… cancelled (on my watch anyway!)
🔥 and how trusting your body might be the most radical thing you ever do

This is real talk, deep wisdom, and the kind of conversation that makes you sit back and think:
“OH. Right. I actually can do this.”

YES YOU CAN!

If you’re pregnant, thinking about it, or just low-key obsessed with birth and women reclaiming their power then this episode is for you and basically the podcast itself! (I’ve got 5 more juicy episodes waiting in the wings!)

🎧 Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or YouTube - O yes we are on the small screen thanks to the incredible @zizzy.podcast.house so you can come sit with us and see us too!

👉 Tap the link. Press play. Let it work its magic.
Then (because we’re building a movement, not just a podcast) go follow The Pregnancy Playbook and please subscribe! Birth isn’t to be feared it is to be understood, respected and revered as a rite of passage that will alter you in all ways. ⛓️‍💥

📲 Share it with your pregnant bestie
💬 Slide into my DMs or comments and come tell me what it stirred in you

This is Maternal Alchemist energy.
This is about women rewriting the narrative of birth
This is only the beginning.

Can’t wait to hear what you all think! It’s like I’ve been growing this baby since last December when we started filming; 9 months in the making… sourcing the best guests and since we wrapped filming (her birth) I’ve been keeping her close for the 4th trimester and at this point I’m navigating matrescence! Send it far and wide goddesses! Its made with the most enormous amount of love. ♥️

Spilling the Tea with Laila Safaee is built on conversations, not interviews.

Each episode features someone I know and have crossed paths with on my journey and we always start by explaining how we know each other, before diving into the stories, lessons, and experiences that go far beyond the highlight reel.

We talk growth, mistakes, career moves, business, life and everything in between.
Honest. Relaxed. Unfiltered.

If you’ve just found your way here, this is your sign to press play.

Years ago, during the growth of my business, I reached a point where I didn’t want to be here anymore. I felt so deeply alone and yet, nobody would have believed that was true.

When my mum and friend kicked my door down and held me, I realised I wasn’t alone after all. I asked for help and that moment changed everything.

If I hadn’t asked for help, I wouldn’t be here now.
I wouldn’t have seen my nephews grow or be building what I love or sharing powerful stories through my podcast Spilling The Tea.

To anyone who needs to hear this: please, ask for help.
Reach out to someone you trust. Reach out to me.
The world wants you here. 💚 As Charlie says in the opening episode THIS IS JUST ONE CHAPTER OF YOUR LIFE 🥹

As I step into Season 3, this one feels profound for reasons I can’t quite share.
If you can, I’d be so grateful for every like, comment, share, or subscribe. It truly means more than you know.
