Corey’s trip to Oliver’s Library 🚂📖

As Oliver mentioned the other day, I’m working in Cardiff for the next few weeks and staying with him. This means I finally get my hands on certain books I’ve been eager to read for years. (This man keeps his books close to his chest, so taking them back to London is not an option 😅)

Here’s the hopeful 6 I have planned:

- Speak Gigantular by Irenosen Okojie
- The Foghorn Echoes by Danny Ramadan
- Speak No Evil by Uzodinma Iweala
- Ghost Roots by ‘Pemi Aguda
- Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert by Bob the Drag Queen
- Nova Scotia House by Charlie Porter

*DISCLAIMER* these are all books Oliver has loved over the years and constantly raves about!

Where should I start as time is precious? ⏰

TAKEN!

Free Gay Book no. 29

Intense and awfully sad at times, the story of two best friends, Hussam and Wassim, growing up in Syria in 2003 who explore their love for each other with devastating consequences. After a tragedy each takes a different path with wildly different outcomes while attempting to reconnect years later. This novel is another powerful reminder that gay and queer stories exist everywhere. I really enjoyed this one.

Who wants it? Comment or DM and I’ll send it your way for free!
