Sunday was such a fun start to the 2026 2027 season. 💕

The Color War was every bit as chaotic as expected 😂 and judging by the smiles, I’d say the afternoon was a success.

A huge thank you to the moms who jumped in and helped make everything happen. We definitely could not pull these things off without them.

Such a good way to start the year. 💕🌈

One of my favorite little moments from yesterday’s welcome party. 💕

We asked the girls what they are most excited about this season while they added their favorite candy to the Candy Salad, and their answers were sweet, funny, and very them. 😂

It is always fun to watch these girls come together at the beginning of a new season. Some I have watched for years, some I am just getting to know, but I love seeing the excitement, friendships, and memories start to build.

There is so much ahead for them this year, and I am excited to watch it all unfold. ✨

Also, forgive the audio on a few of them. Apparently next time I need to add microphones to the party supply list. 🤣

The hardest goodbye i’ve ever had to say 🥹

for 16 years dance has been what i looked forward to every day. I always knew that i had something to do when I got home from school or something to distract me when i had a bad day. Even though this year didn’t look exactly how i wanted it to I still wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Dance has taught me so much and has given me the best friendships I’ve ever had. The studio itself has taught me how to stay strong and get through whatever life throws at me all while keeping a positive attitude and i could never thank them more.

I’ll love you forever my dance family 💗💗

Now that nationals is over, I can finally post Bailey’s solos. We will start with this one.

Something in the Orange.

I don’t even really know how to put this solo into words. It was different for Bailey. It pushed her. It challenged her. It made her work in ways that were not always comfortable, but man was it amazing to watch.

This solo won so many awards and placements throughout the year, and I am so proud her. But what I will remember most is watching Bailey grow into it. Watching her find the strength, confidence, and fire it needed.

Thank you @babydarian for this amazing choreography and for giving Bailey something that stretched her. Thank you @haleybrown10 for cleaning it, running it, and continuing to help her grow in it all year.

Thank you PaulandJodey Bruno and the entire The Danse Difference team for believing in her and pushing her to reach new heights.

This one will always be special. #dancer #dance #dancelife

Give Them Something to Taco ’Bout 🌮

Loved getting to help celebrate these girls with an end of year party and nationals sendoff.

The night was filled with tacos, desserts, pictures, games, sister team time, and lots of laughter. My hope was to give the girls a fun night together while also giving them a chance to reflect on the season, encourage one another, and feel celebrated before nationals.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who helped set up, serve food, keep things moving, help the littles, and clean up. These moments only happen because people are willing to show up and make them special.

So thankful for @thedansedifference , the teachers, the families, and the community surrounding these dancers.

Now go give them something to taco ’bout at nationals.

Yesterday was recital day.

Three recitals, countless costume changes, so many dances, and somehow I took exactly two pictures. The rest of these were borrowed from everyone else who did better than me, and if anyone has more pictures, please send them my way.

Bailey just finished her junior year, and while I am so proud of the dancer she is and the way she continues to grow, I would be lying if I said this recital did not make me emotional. Watching so many girls she has grown up dancing with take the stage for their senior recital made next year feel very real.

These girls have shared so many classes, rehearsals, competitions, dressing rooms, long days, tired nights, big wins, hard moments, and memories that I know will stay with them forever.

I am proud of Bailey. I am proud of the way she keeps showing up, keeps working, keeps growing, and keeps loving dance through every season.

And to the seniors, it has been a gift to watch you grow up on that stage. I hope you know how loved you are and how many people are cheering for you as you step into what comes next.

To the moms of the littles, take it all in. Take the pictures. Fix the bun. Tie the shoes. Sit through the long rehearsals. Watch the same dance again and again. Don’t rush it.

One day you are watching your tiny dancer run backstage in costume, and somehow you blink and senior year is right around the corner.

Junior year is done. Senior year is coming.

And I am not sure my heart is ready.
