Does PLUR still exist in Utah?
The first thing I noticed coming into this show was how mainstream it had become. When this scene started it was not for the "cool" kids. It was made for and by all the misfit ravers. And there was a ton of dumb boys and just as many dumb girls that have a lot to learn.

But seeing all the old faces and feeling the love of music reminds me that there is so much good beyond all the chaos. So we keep doing this.

Contributor Spotlight: 💿💽 The Disco Papi 💽💿

Did you know that Kink’d Magazine does interviews?

For Issue 003, I recorded a video interview with The Disco Papi where we talked about The Shiny Disco Ball (the spectacular event he organized during pride month), building queer-centered dance floors, and creating spaces where people can actually feel seen.

Thank you again to The Disco Papi, you can find out more about him by following:
@thediscopapi and @planetpapitv

This is one of the magazine spreads from the written interview, featuring a poster from The Disco Papi’s Shiny Disco Ball, a queer-centered dance event in Salt Lake City!

The spread also includes my handwritten notes from the interview, a business card with a mini disco ball, and a poloriod photo I took of The Disco Papi at the end of our video interview.
