Maryland was as always a treat!

Some take aways from my trip:
• Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry is an awesome program Maryland has for donating deer! Most processors in the state participate! They’ve donated 26 million pounds of venison since 1997!! Insane!
•We donated to Frase’s meat shop in Preston, Maryland!
• Having the opportunity to go to another state, harvest, & donate a deer is such a blessing!
• Seeing a piebald doe for the first time was awesome!
• Although the trips main intent was to hunt Sika deer we continue to learn how hard Sika deer are to hunt. They live in the craziest, wettest, bug infested areas and the chase for them is not for the faint of heart!
• Justin had 56 bug bites on his shoulders and back alone from a 2 mile walk out of the woods. 😳
• I still hate spiders and snakes. Maryland has too many.
• I’m incredibly blessed to have the connections I do around the States. I’m grateful the hospitality and cannot wait to see PA boys again soon!
