And that’s a wrap on another fabulous Melbourne Dog Lovers Festival!

A HUGE thank you to all the amazing humans and dogs who joined me on the Outback Arena for our TV Su-Paw-Stars performances! 🌟 I honestly felt like a proud mum watching you all shine! You were absolute superstars, and I’m so grateful for your continued support. 🥰🐶

It was wonderful catching up with so many old friends, both two-legged and four-legged, and making some lovely new ones along the way!

My only regret is that I didn’t get nearly enough time to explore all the fantastic exhibitors showcasing their products and services over the weekend. There was so much to see!

And of course, a massive thank you to the Dog Lovers Festival team for having me involved again. The festivals are always a highlight of my year, and this year was no exception! ❤️🐾

Today is World Animal Day 🐾🌏

A day to celebrate the animals who bring so much joy, companionship and unconditional love into our lives — and to remember the responsibility we have to protect them in return.

Every animal deserves to feel safe, loved and respected. They deserve good food, proper care, enrichment, kindness and a life free from fear and suffering.

And while we may not be able to help every animal ourselves, every choice we make matters — adopting or fostering, supporting rescue and conservation organisations, speaking up against cruelty, choosing more ethically and simply being the best guardian we can be to the animals already in our lives.

Because they give us so much. The least we can do is make their world a little better too. 💙

Happy World Animal Day from all of us at Pooches at Play. 🐶🐾🌏

Foxy is receiving her very first title as an Australian Agility Team Dog! 🏆🦊💙

But this wouldn’t have happened without the team runs that were simply about having fun. So we want to give a very special thank you to our amazing teammates, @lindamichel899 & @hey_hey_its_ziggylou , for being part of this journey with us! 🥰🐾

Agility competitions can feel a little overwhelming when you’re new, but honestly… how fun are team runs?! 😍 They’re a little more relaxed, a bit shorter, and all about enjoying the experience together.

Maybe they’re actually a pretty great way to start competing — and a good reminder that we don’t always have to take competition so seriously.

We’re here to run, laugh, cheer for each other… and most importantly, **have fun!** 💙🦊✨

So I actually forgot to share these the other day, but in line with international dog day; here are Lacie and Cricket’s 5 seconds of fame from @thedogloversfestival 🐩🥰

I love just how different every single one of my dogs are, and wouldn’t change them for the world 😍

Could you tell that Lacie hadn’t done much agility that week, and she also really likes her @wildhundeau toy 🫠🫣

So incredibly proud of these guys 🥰

What may not be obvious in this clip is the following:
- Cricket is very content with @larashannon and not looking back at me constantly 🦗
- Lottie is focused in a very distracting environment and engaged in toy play 👹
- Lacie is weaving away from me, while I’m sitting on the ground holding her favourite toy, and is actually practicing her newly trained directionals 🐩

Thank you so much to @thedogloversfestival and @larashannon for providing this awesome training opportunity. This takes proofing to a totally new level - and is one of the many reasons as to why I love doing these kinds of events 😇
