I'M A COP, AND THAT'S OKAY, out now on YouTube!!!

This was my biggest film to date. The writing, storyboarding, casting, scheduling, directing, shooting, and editing were all on a scale I hadn't thought possible for a film of my own. I was blown away by the support I had from my peers and idols when creating this film. Theres no better feeling than having those you respect lend their voices and talents to something you hold so dear, and making this film made me realize I have people waiting on me to create-- and I will do my best to keep going and keep art flowing into the world.

A few big shoutouts:

My twin in another skin @yaelinotero is the super producer and 1st AD for this film and I literally could not have done it without her. We had location changes and scheduling headaches and she wrapped us ON time EACH time. You had faith in the project from the jump and helped me bounce ideas. I'm so greatful for your help!

One of my fav actors right now @lormercury plays Jacqui, and she opens the film with an almost full page monologue. Thank you for giving me notes on early drafts and talking through ideas with me. When we lost our location on the first shooting day, I was worried we couldn't get back on track. We started with your coverage of the monologue and you *killed it* with such skill and grace-- that's when I knew we were back and we were making gold!

I had to save her for last-- the Queen @adetinpothatsme put a battery in my back for this film. I have so much respect for her as an artist and as a person. When she showed me the faith she had in my film and in my script, then floated in the room and did what she DOES...it lent so much credibility to our production. If yall know me I don't play about Adetinpo Thomas!!

Thank you to everyone who was a part of this project and helped bring it into fruition. This is only the beginning, and I hope you guys will continue the ride with me ✊🏽💫🖤
