For the past couple of months, I’ve been feeling a little uninspired. Sometimes I haven’t known what to say or how to say it, and honestly, that’s okay. Mentally, I needed to step back. When the incident that happened with Uber, when I had lost my phone I had lost access to The Wiz Historian TikTok. I was devastated. But I’m learning that we’re allowed to take breaks, have our moments, and even start over, especially when life gives us no choice. Starting over isn’t failure, it’s part of the journey. Every time I look at this poster, signed by members of the touring cast of @thewizbway a little piece of Oz in my hand, I’m reminded of why I do this. The Wiz means so much to me. Not only as history, but because of the joy, magic, representation, and healing it has given people for 51 years.
Whenever I’m feeling a little down, I remember: “If you keep on steppin’, you’ll be just fine.” I’m so grateful to witness, celebrate, and share the joy of this incredible legacy. Thank you to everyone who continues to support The Wiz Historian and to share this journey with me. Your love means more than you know. Still stepping. Still believing. Still celebrating the magic. THE LEGACY CONTINUES.

54 SINGS NOAH KAHAN: THE GREAT DIVIDE

CAL MITCHELL (he/him) is super excited to be back at 54 for this concert to the music of Noah Kahan! Cal just recently return to nyc from playing “The Lion” in the touring production of the wiz, and is excited to get to perform again in the city.

HAILE FERRIER (she/her) is excited to be returning to her true folky nature. She is most known for her time with Dear Evan Hansen’s 1st National Broadway Tour as well as Masquerade here in New York.

LIAM FENNECKEN (he/him) has performed on Broadway as Amos Hart in Chicago as well as toured nationally and internationally with School of Rock (Dewey Finn), Once (Svec), American Idiot, and Peter Pan (Smee/Nana). He has also had the pleasure of performing in Regional Theatres across the country in shows like Rock of Ages, Almost Famous, and Into the Woods. Liam is also a singer/songwriter and member of Vocal Group T.3 who made their breakout TV appearance on America’s Got Talent and has toured across the globe! Follow for updates at @liamfennecken

LIESIE KELLY (they/them) is currently sucking blood in The Lost Boys on Broadway. Previously seen at the ballet in A Chorus Line at Goodspeed Opera House, and touring the country rocking out to Alanis’ music in Jagged Little Pill. Thanks to my parents for putting me in ballet at 3.

MICHAEL FABISCH (he/him) is so excited to be joining this wonderfully talented group of people. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, he made his post-collegiate debut as Evan in the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen and later made his regional debut at The MUNY in the same role. Michael went on to work with Tom Kitt at A.C.T of Connecticut on an updated version of the Broadway musical Almost Famous as William Miller. Most recently, he appeared as Jack in Arrow Rock Lyceum’s production of Into The Woods. Endless thanks to his amazing family for always showing up—no matter the city— and to his incredible agents at The Mine for their constant belief and support.

RACHEL CROOM (she/her) is an actress and singer-songwriter from Jackson, New Jersey

so…never did a tour dump. very unlike me… so here’s a tour/been back in the city for over a month and a half dumpy.

me and my friends have been taking a yearly trip for six years and every single year it gets better and cuter and sweeter and more powerful!!!!!! this is our 6th year and we genuinely started planning the next one before we left the first one. I work the whole year for these three days and every single year it HEALS ME!!!!! I love my friends so much I could cry happy LBI six, LBI seven incoming ✨✨✨✨✨
