so let me thank the lord that I got blessed with y’all 💖🥹 I love y’all so much and I can’t wait to see what’s next for all of us 💖🧡

Whirlwind Cali Trip! Part 3- The mini reunion!

The main impetus for this trip was this crazy group of people! Being in the Young Americans was a foundational time in my life. And one of those things where if you weren’t there you won’t get it! LOL

So many of us hit the 50 year milestone this year. Here we’re celebrating Phil hitting this mark. And for the first time in forever he’s stateside since moving to Australia.

How did all them age so gracefully and I became Santa?!? And while we’ve all gotten older that old school energy is immediately present once we’re around each other. Had a very chatty lunch together and then some of us continued on into the night at David’s house; singing, drinking, reminiscing! It was an absolute blast!

Prepare Ye!!! “Godspell” is being resurrected at the Long Beach Playhouse!!!
As always, my first reel is dedicated to our beloved band. Endless thanks to our extraordinarily talented music director and assistant music director @solearnj and @nickjestes . Thank you both so very much for your guidance and patience. I am equally thrilled to be working again with our fun & fabulous rockstars @c.arechiga & @jalil_music.
Special shout out to @aubcha13 who is making her band debut. You are a ray of sunshine and such a harmonious addition to our band, with both your radiant personality and your exquisite musical talent. 🙏🎭💫🎸

For me, there is no better way to celebrate another trip around the sun than spending time with the people who bring so much light in my life. 🥹💕
I am so grateful to have a beautiful community full of love, joy, and support. Especially in these dark times, we need each other more than ever.

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, for the texts, messages, gifts, hugs & kisses, singing songs, swapping clothes, and spending time together ♥️ I love you all!

If you make it to the end, enjoy a birthday serenade from the theater kids and karaoke gays. ✨

PS: Keep a look out for an invite to our next clothing swap! We are definitely going to be hosting more! 👗👚🧢

PPS: We did not adopt a 5th cat, but somebody please ADOPT SANGRIA at the @coolcatcollectivelbc so we can snuggle with her forever! 😻 Please & Thank you!

Gosh! It’s been a week since the closing night of @sisteractthemusical and I miss my Sister Act family. To remember this experience, I asked everyone to sign my “yearbook.” During these last 3 months, I learned so much from each and every one of my cast mates. I loved my character, Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours. I was able to test my acting chops through comedic moments, out of the box crazy moments, and tender grounded moments crying at almost every show. (There was one show where I tried, but just didn’t quite get there.) She had range. However, my favorite moments were the ones I shared with the other nuns singing and dancing our hearts out like we were @beyonce. I can’t even begin to describe the high of feeling like a pop star and having the audience cheer us on. Above all that, I also made some great friends that I hope to see again very soon. ❤️🎭🎵💃

The @longbeachplayhouse has a tradition where the cast and crew sign the walls of the dressing rooms. I’ve signed the upstairs Studio Theatre several times, but this is the first time my name has appeared on the walls of the Mainstage Theatre. To make this an even more fabulous moment, our very own @erikamireyacruz who played Sister Mary Robert is a talented artist and spent several hours creating this beautiful stained glass cross. I am so grateful to be part of this production and for my Sister Act family. ❤️🎭🥰🎶

Gosh. I’m going to miss these people. Our vocal warm-ups before each performance ended with “Spread the Love.” How appropriate! ❤️❤️❤️

We had the perfect audience to close our our run for @sisteractthemusical. They spontaneously erupted into a wave during intermission which lasted 5 or 6 rounds. I love our audience at the @longbeachplayhouse. Thank you for the support. ❤️🎭✝️

SOLD OUT! Again!!! 🥳 That makes it three in a row. If you wanted to come see the show live, hopefully you’re one of the people who already reserved a seat. The only other option is to come to the theater and wait on the standby list. The box office will release unclaimed tickets 10 minutes before opening. You can still stream our pre-recorded dress rehearsal online. Tonight is going to rock! We’re finishing with a bang! 🎉🎭🎶✝️
