dear volleyball,

i can’t even explain how much of an impact this sport has had on my life. it started out as a fun hobby in middle school and when i made the team my 8th grade year, i didn’t realize how my life would change. i never thought that i would be here my senior year still playing volleyball because of how late i started compared to others, but volleyball slowly became my whole world. through all of the long practices, late game nights, and dutch bros runs, i couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to do it with. this team became my second family. thank you to my coaches, the underclassmen, and this special group of seniors for always supporting and believing in me. Davie County Volleyball will always hold a special place in my heart and the memories i’ve made with this team will always be my favorite. i can’t believe it’s come to an end. thank you for everything Davie Volleyball!

genuinely can’t begin with how this sport has impacted my life. through the many ups and downs it’s been a memory i’ll now look back on forever. a sport that started as just something small turned into part of who I became. this year has been exactly how I would want it to end. the friendships, the coaches, the underclassmen, all people who became family. i’m so thankful for everyone who pushed me to become a better athlete everyday no matter what. i’ll forever love this sport and the people that were by my side with it all. goodbye number 2🖤🧡

So grateful to be apart of this program the past 4 years. All though I wasn’t able to play my junior and senior year due to an ACL and meniscus tear, it taught me to be grateful and learn it’s a privilege to play volleyball with my favorite people. This team really is a big family and wishes the best for everyone. During my recovery I really struggled with feeling like I was important to the team but these girls always made me feel included even if I wasn’t on the court. So incredibly grateful to get to play with my best friends hayden and sierra from middle school ball to now and all the new sisters I gained along the way. Will miss playing with my fellow seniors and my underclassmen babies. No other team I would play with.
