GAZA! GAZA! GAZA! In advocating for their struggle we must recognize that what they’re going through is a direct reflection of conditions imposed on us by the same colonial structures. During our shoot the police were called on us and were monitoring our actions. Intimidation tactics such as parking around the corner and keeping their light beacons on were used in addition to them attempting to catch us as we left. It is OUR duty to understand that these issues aren’t as far from us as we think, that they’re being executed on a larger scale in other parts of the world and we must not isolate ourselves from the struggle we collectively endure. 📸: @planetgold 🖋️: @niggafairytianna @theemooniverse

To celebrate Black History Month ✊🏾, we wanted to do something to spark your inner child. We chose to highlight black youth, back when we’d be outside until the street lights came on. Drinking out the fire hydrants, riding our bikes town to town, splitting our money 5 ways posted at the corner store. We was gonna make it happen! creative director- @theemooniverse Photographer - @planetgold @bxndo.nanii Thank you to all our models🫶🏽
