Sunnye Moment: Unexpectedly, my doctors have told me that today marks the last day of my breastfeeding journey so I’m taking a moment of gratitude. The Creator brought us through the laughter of discovery, frustrations of hospital stays, and long days…PERIOD. Complications with lupus have caused this time to be shorter that planned, but plans change.
Thank you to those friends who reminded me that everybody’s journey is different—Thank you. Jasmine D, Jeff and Kenetha Carr, Lakissha, Yedid, Amy, Latonya, Erica, Elisheba, doughjoe, Jasmine M., Jessica, Angel, Nicole, Momma, Susie, and all my spiritual families for your many moments of support.
Thank you Murdock for lighting the darker days and coasting with me through the smooth currents. I love you… Here’s to starting another segment of our journey.
To Nandi Makena, The last 3 1/2 months have been challenging and magical. Thank you for the lessons, triumphs, and moments of JOY you bring to us. It was an honor to carry you and feed you in this way. Now the privilege of nurturing you will remain ours. 🙏🏽❤️❤️
