An it’s-been-awhile dump. 😌

Not pictured: lots of normalcy mixed in w/ some doctors’ visits, labs and ultrasounds. I’m doing fine, praise the Lord… but whew it’s been a rough few months. Us invisible illness folks go through muuuch more than people can see. And I needed to hang back to take care in real life. If you haven’t heard from me in some time (that’s basically everyone lol), please pop in and say hello. 🫂

Still — what a beautifully complicated, beautiful summer. We had a time! (ask Malakai.) No regrets, just vvvvvvvvvvv ready for some autumn. 🍂 Sweaters, tea, soup, boots, all the vibes as the kids say. See y’all then ❤️✌🏾

a day late 🫨 (we had a crazy 24 hours.) but i’ll NEVER miss a chance to celebrate my Love. HAPPY BIRTHDAY baby! 🥳🥳🥳

15 years of being together, 12 years married, 7 years as parents and i still fiercely love the person you are… your constant evolution, as well as the things that will never ever change 🤪 let’s keep riding God’s wave for our life together 🤞🏾🌊

EVERYONE, wish @theeskipper a happy (belated 🫠) birthday! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥳

first day of spring/last day of spring break ⛅️💚🌸 w/ the little guy.

curating slow/meaningful moments for us is my favorite challenge these days. time might fly, but not before i get some sweet memories out of it all. 🥰 #malakaismom

📸: a few moments of clarity from this year.

i’m waving goodbye to 2025, in a way i’ve never done before. this year was unrelenting, but it clarified my true needs… not the things, the accomplishments, the moments i thought i needed — which i held with a clenched fist.

this year was hard, but full of grace. grace found in God and in authentic community — which led to a sense of true fulfillment that i began the year looking for, but with a flawed plan. God knew.

and now, i look ahead to 2026 with a blank slate. 40-year-old hands and heart open. after everything — still believing and trusting. still joyful! still full of dreams and goals… still confident but crystal clear about where my help comes from.

thank you 2025, hello 2026 🎉
sending prayers for love, peace and alignment in the new year for all of my online and offline friends ✨🙌🏾

today, we’re 12 🥹
and this month marks 15 years of us on this journey that was very clear, very God… very early.
these photos go back to 2013, and in between each slide are seasons of triumph, seasons of storms, seasons of stillness and seasons of utter chaos 😦🤪 but we made it. through every single one. still smiling, standing and fighting for us.

today i’m proud of us. and excited for more. i love you SO big 😩🫠 @theeskipper

a day early • happy father’s day @theeskipper ✨

you’re a superstar dad. the inner work alone that you do to be a consistent, solid and balanced force in malakai’s life places you in the highest regard for me. thankful for the standard you hold yourself to — as a father, as God’s man — and how you share that with him. the more aware he becomes of his self and this world 😬, the more challenging parenting becomes. thank you for being a REAL partner — giving your all for us and him. we love you ❤️

happy birthday to my @theeskipper! ✨☺️🙌🏾

everyday i celebrate you, but today i honor what makes your light so unique — your loyalty, your commitment to prudence, the ease in your generosity, your diligence, your discretion and your imagination. these are just a few of the qualities that make up the man that SO many people love, value and trust.

thank you for all of the different ways you Love and take care of me and bub. i pray you embrace today and all the days we are grateful for you. ❤️
