One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is seeing how couples bring their different backgrounds into one celebration. Your reception is a great place to do that, whether it’s through the food, music, traditions, or the way you bring your families together.

This one at The Exchange Chicago had such a beautiful setting for a night that celebrated both cultures! 🤍

A weekend spent wandering through Chicago, discovering hidden corners, admiring the architecture, and appreciating the stories these spaces hold.

One of my favorite things about this city is that there’s always something new to see, even in places you’ve passed a hundred times.

A few scenes from Open House Chicago 2026, through my lens. 📸 @chiarchitecture

Can we talk about how incredible this bridal party looked?! 🌸

The pink dresses, delicate floral fans, and all the little nods to tradition made this Chicago wedding so fun to document.

MAUVE 🍃 This color palette is one of my favorite combos, so when Susannah & Nick showed me their decor & inspo photos, I knew their cake was going to be something special.

Hexagon tiers, white hand painted art-deco scroll work, some subtle texture (thanks to @cakesbyangelamorrison impression mat) and some loose and movement filled@sugar flowers, inspired by the rock star @xodesign_co

I always forget to mention flavors because I know you can’t taste through the screen- but if you could, you’d want to taste this one. Spiced pear cake with ginger molasses cream cheese and chai buttercream and vanilla cake with elderflower buttercream and strawberry-rhubarb preserves. 😋

Congratulations S&N!!!! 🍾🥂🍰🥂🍾
