Long day in the suit speaking at the Las Vegas Young Republican Club, then straight to the office, home to take care of Remy… and look what showed up at my door. 🥩📚

My friend Josie Lieder, better known as @theexplanteater, just released her new book, “Coming Around to Carnivore.” Josie spent 14 years as a vegan before ultimately turning to animal-based nutrition and becoming a passionate advocate for the carnivore lifestyle.

I had the pleasure of meeting Josie in April when I hosted the Long Island Carnivore Meetup with @doctorkiltz and @misssmeat . Josie is an incredibly kind person, and I’m happy to support her and her work.

After over 20 years around the health and fitness world, I’ve met thousands of people with all kinds of dietary backgrounds. I’ve met countless former vegans who say they dramatically improved after bringing meat back into their diets and going carnivore.

But I have NEVER met a carnivore who went vegan afterwards? 😉🥩

Congratulations, Josie! Pick up “Coming Around to Carnivore” and support someone who is helping challenge conventional thinking about nutrition.

Just came back from Pilates session and it’s a happy cell song time day 2. Are you joining this challenge by @burchbearholisticcare for the next 30 days? There is so much negativity and darkness around, so let’s make our life better and happier. Let’s change what is our control.

At 13 years old, I became convinced that veganism was the healthiest way to eat. 14 Years later, after being hospitalized twice, I was forced to change direction. https://youtu.be/q9Yfy-AMELg

It’s interesting how carnivores like @theexplanteater will often point to ecological correlations (correlations at a group or population level) to suggest that seed oils cause disease, but then ignore the fact that prospective cohort studies that adjust for confounding variables, and randomized controlled trials investigating risk factors, point toward red meat being harmful.

It seems to largely be a case of “if I like the result, then it’s good evidence.”

I’ll always agree with the ethical sentiment that killing animals is unpleasant horrible (no one wants to see it)but humans must consume meat for optimal survival and health. Cannot stress this enough.

We don’t eat animals for fun a sport or a casual choice. It’s for human survival. Human evolution was driven by hunting large, nutrient-dense animals for sustenance.

Humans thrived by targeting large fatty animals because it was the most efficient way to secure the fuel and bioavailable nutrients needed for brain and physical development.

It’s not nice but we really don’t have a choice. Everyone of us eat meat you know what happens to the animal. Unfortunately life must be killed to bring food to our table

I announced this on my story already, but I never made a dedicated post on my personal page, and it’s long past due. I am releasing a book about my vegan to carnivore journey that is coming out through Victory Belt Publishing on August 11th, and can now be preordered on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

I haven’t spoken too much on here about how I actually eat because I’ve been afraid people would judge me and think I was going from one extreme to the other, but the carnivore diet saved my life and I’ve reached a point where I don’t care how anyone feels about it. It put my autoimmune disorder in permanent remission and has resulted in so many other health issues resolving or improving immensely—all of which would not be the case if I “ate normally”. I’ve never seen such profound testimonies of healing with any other way of eating, and this way of eating put my own autoimmune disorder in permanent remission—naturally.

While I plan to continue keeping things differentiated and will be keeping content about this on my designated account, I’m also not going to hide how I eat anymore out of fear people will judge me. Judge away! Unfollow me if you gotta for your emotional security. But if you’re interested on the other hand, you can now preorder the book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, and a number of other smaller retailers (link will now be in my bio).

After this way of eating literally saved my life and saved me from lifelong, debilitating health issues, I think it is only right to keep talking about it. It is sure to also save the lives of others.

A few people have mentioned this to us in the past. My doctor is aware of carnivore. The benefits how many are doing well on it but refuse to mention it to many of their other patients because they can’t.

They know the reason so do I. It’s simple there is no financial profit for medical and pharmaceutical industries(they are making billions out of sickcare) if people cure their conditions naturally through their diet. ITS SICKENING!!!!

Medical treatments are designed to manage chronic conditions rather than cure them. Keeping patients dependent on lifelong medication is often more profitable for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and personally I think it’s a disgrace. I couldn’t live with myself doing this.

This is what’s really annoying me at the moment we have the solution apparently for everything

Obesity
Type 2
High cholesterol
High blood pressure
Mental health
Autoimmune issues
Fertility
The list goes on.

But none of these fxxkers ask the simple question. What are you eating daily? Instead they are the ones actually encouraging you to eat this way. It’s madness.

We’re on our own. The only way you are gonna know for sure. Is Mark right? Maybe the food I’m eating is causing the problems. The only way you find out is try it. Do it properly over a period of them.

Then you will see who’s lying to you
Me or them👍
