I tried my hand at hosting a backyard dinner party last Sunday. A huge thank you to all my helpers and guinea pigs, I couldn't have done this without you. .
📄 Menu:.
1.Fuchka - crispy shell stuffed with chickpea stew and tamarind water.
2. Rice, daal, and a variety of mashes (spinach and leek, potato and eggplant, red beet and chickpea, and pumpkin and shrimp).
3. Mustard and turmeric marinated baramundi grilled in banana leaves, with tomato sauce and wilted spinach.
4. Beef curry with fried flat bread, and cucumber and yogurt sauce.
5. Rice pudding with jaggery, with candied orange and pistachio.
