Because y’all already know I’m all about beauty and finding the best stylist that’s the perfect fit for me in Dallas!

Lord, thank You for placing amazing people in my life. A special thank you to my friend @thefaceroom who knows everybody and connected me with Anita @adivacutnup for the big chop. She gave me exactly the pixie look I had been wanting!

And because Dallas is so big, Anita checked on me afterward and said, “I’m going to send you to a stylist closer to home.” That kind of care means everything. She connected me with another incredible stylist, @saloncoif and let me tell you…both of these ladies are absolute queens at what they do!

From a natural look to soft, beautiful curls, I’m rocking both styles, honey! It’s a blessing to find talented women who not only slay your hair but genuinely care about their clients. Grateful beyond words. 💇🏽‍♀️✨💕 #PixieCut #DallasStylist #BeautyJourney #BigChop #SoftCurls NaturalBeauty Blessed WomenSupportingWomen

55 looks good on me. 🤍

I didn’t just ditch the wig… I let go of the dead weight too.

Short hair isn’t new to me—it’s a return to the woman I’ve always been. Sometimes growth looks like having the courage to strip away what’s no longer serving you and embrace what God gave you.

God blessed me with beautiful natural texture, and my stylist brought my vision to life. Because at the end of the day… it’s all in the cut.

Here’s to a new chapter, a lighter spirit, and showing up as the most authentic version of myself.

55 is giving confidence. Freedom. Peace.

This weekend I had the pleasure of spending quality time with my bestie, Me-o-Sha aka Sha-Lo and celebrating her birthday. From cocktails and conversation at Lounge 31 and Mi Cocina, to a Denim and Pearls Birthday Celebration complete with a custom sip & paint, finishing the weekend with a day of soaking and relaxation at WorldSprings and toasting to an amazing weekend at Brew City Dallas and Pappadeaux’s! Thank you, Sis for including me in your experiential birthday celebration!
