Next week, The Fine Hand are showing us how to turn dreams, memories and drawings into music. 🎼

On Thursday 15 October, join a hands-on workshop where you'll transform your dreamscape into symbols and images, creating unique graphic scores and bringing them to life through music. No musical experience required, and all ages welcome.

Then on Friday 16 October, The Fine Hand take to the stage for a live performance of Send it by the Water. Using a visual score, they will weave historical sounds into a beautiful journey exploring migration, memory and the dreams passed down through generations. 🌊

BREMF WORKSHOP: Transform your Dreams | Thursday 15 October | 6 - 7.45pm |£5 / under 18s free

--
Part of the One Song / BREMF programme. This October, Fabrica presents One Song, an exhibition and community archive by artist Kadir Karababa. A programme of accompanying events brings the work to life through music, conversation and shared experiences. This workshop is presented in partnership with @brightonemf

Dreams typically come to us as images rather than words. Inspired by the visual score at the heart of Send it by the Water (Friday 16 October), and shaped by the performers’ own dreams and cultural traditions, this workshop invites you to transform your own dreamscape into symbols and images.

--
Together with members of the @fi.nehand you’ll create a unique graphic score and bring it to life through music.

--
No musical experience required and all ages welcome.

Resonanzen – Festival Alter Musik || Tag 5

Collections full of stories

Much of the music we know today has survived thanks to passionate collectors: from kings and clerics to the composers themselves. This festival edition drives into their musical treasure troves, bringing complete works to life, from the Forqueray family to Bach's Wohltemperierte Klavier.

What music do we choose to preserve? And what do we leave behind? Experience it live, get your tickets at www.oudemuziek.nl/collecties.
