This kitchen is like the unicorn of kitchens - functional, large enough for bigger groups AND still cozy! And those vintage pendants our client found? It’s like they were made for this space! Talk about a jackpot find!

Creating spaces with purpose is just as important as making them beautiful.

As part of a full gut renovation of this Lakeview residence, we transformed a large, undefined basement space into a dedicated mudroom, giving the family a proper sense of arrival when entering from the garage.

Custom cabinetry provides plenty of storage for everything from coats and backpacks to sports equipment, while patterned tile, tailored upholstery, and brass details bring personality to a hardworking space.

A thoughtful balance of function and design that makes everyday family life a little easier.

A Classic, but far from basic.

When designing this transitional white kitchen, we wanted to honor timeless architecture while making intentional, unexpected choices. Instead of running the Taj Mahal countertops straight up the wall, we designed a custom stone herringbone pattern backsplash to coordinate with the slabs, giving us the perfect opportunity to play with dimension and scale.

We also leaned heavily into contrast. Integrating bold black elements into a classic white canvas can feel like a risk, but pairing a paneled black oak refrigerator with matte black Café appliances anchored the entire room.

Proof that a white kitchen can be deeply personal, structural, and anything but predictable.

We designed this one so the morning starts with relaxing soft blue and brushed gold tones, plus ten minutes before anyone asks you for anything!

Who else needs this? 💙

Nature is our muse.

Looking back at our “Little Girl’s Room” at @lfshowhouse, we brought nature and light together through a composition of winterberry branches in plaster bas-relief, with tiny lights tucked behind the leaves. At Kips Bay, the ethereal movement of a cherry blossom branch brings nature into our design in another way.

I love seeing that connection between our two showhouses. Different materials and different expressions, but the same desire to bring a little of nature’s softness and poetry into a room. 🌸

This northcenter new construction project features an elegant guest bathroom with wainscoting created using beautiful ceramic tile from @thefinelinechi. The wallcovering from @artewalls, in a chocolate colorway, replicates the texture of rope in a floral pattern, adding a unique touch to the space.

Without a doubt, the standout design feature of this primary bathroom is the steam shower area. Everything else takes second place to the slabs of Calacatta Viola marble, which were used for the walls and bench. So unbelievably beautiful.
