proudly presents the third of three members of the analoggang Kristina Satori @thefineportrait 2/3
Hello internet – may we introduce ourselves: we are Katharina Reckendorfer, Marisa Vranješ @marisavranjes and Kristina Satori @thefineportrait . Together we go by the name of analoggang. ‎
We met in 2007 when the three of us were attending the „Graphische“ in Vienna, Austria. Back then - although it just seems like a blink ago – it wasn't very popular to shoot film. Everyone was throwing out their analogue stuff, going for buying pixels. It seemed like analogue photography was worthless in those days. Now in 2018 we are very pleased to see that analogue photography is definitely here to stay.
The name analoggang was given to us by a colleague, and not meant as a compliment. But like you do when people try to make fun of you we adopted the name and wore it with pride. The analoggang is neither a collective nor a company, we are a family of chosen relatives. We support each other every step of the way – knowing that this is a very rare gift one is lucky to find in a colleague, a friend, a chosen sister let alone two in only one lifetime.
