Making my last day of holiday count - while joining my passions for horology and oenology. When you only have one day in the great crus of Burgundy, it’s essential to keep the time 🥂🤓

Something clicked for me walking out of dinner tonight. Gold Rolexes. Pateks. Serious watches everywhere. And nobody looked nervous.

Miami might be the best watch city in the world right now. Not because of the money - NYC, LA, London, Milan, Rome all have money. It’s because people actually feel safe wearing them here.

Why Miami’s watch game hits different:

• Men don’t wear much jewelry - a watch is one of the few ways to express style and success
• Other major cities have the wealth but not the safety - you think twice before wearing a gold Rolex in most places
• Miami’s done something right - people feel comfortable actually enjoying what they’ve earned

You work hard. You collect something beautiful. You should be able to wear it without looking over your shoulder.

What cities do you feel safe wearing your watch? Which ones do you not? ⌚️
