🤍🥀🪾WITCH WELL 🪾🥀🤍
One of my favorite tracks from the new record is out today, and this beautiful Ansel Adams inspired super 8 video to go along with it.

I wrote this song during the beginning stages of a break up on a road trip. Have you ever been to eastern Arizona? It’s pretty bleak but there’s a small town called ‘Witch Well’ with an old abandoned liquor store. I thought it was cool and wanted to go back and take a picture on a disposable camera, and when I did, I drove over the hill to find the building had been bulldozed. I wrote this song right after.

Thank you for everyone’s help making this track what it is…

Met up with @thefuenz 📸 for some new photos and we wandered into Shoestring Antiques, in historic Colfax, Ca.

The owner, Jeff, didn't quite know what to make of us when we walked in with all our silliness and our instruments asking of we could take a photo in his shop. He was a good sport and we definitely weren't going to turn down a song request.

This is such a neat shop, full of whimsy, AND this was probably the coolest photo shoot we will ever have.

@thefuenz understood the assignment! 🙌🎶🎻✨️

🤍🪕 Gimme Danger! Roadrunner is the second single off the new record. I wrote this song on a desert road trip. This is a song about that point you hit when something in your life needs to change, and you need to figure it out. Link in bio for full video!!

🍒 I was obsessed with the idea of cafe racers and dirt bikes since I was 15. I rode on the back of a motorcycle at 21 on Highway 1 in Southern California and felt this otherworldly sense of flying. Everything was vibrant and smelled so good. A few years later I learned how to ride a motorcycle myself, I caught the bug real hard. I started dirt biking in Death Valley shortly after that and it became such a part of my life. It humbles me, grounds me, and keeps me sane.

Endless thanks to @thefuenz for this amazingly beautiful video on Super 8
