How many hair looks did you have in 2025? The year started with a fresh cut. Braids entered the chat when I traveled to Europe, and curly oils were thriving as I continued to refine and discover the products that work best for my hair. Boho braids took the spotlight during the spring and summer months. Cheers to celebrating the beauty of Black hair and all of its versatility. Jasmine’s 2024, WRAPPED: ✨Jan (1-2): Although we started the year off with a huge family loss on my husband’s side, we were able to celebrate our girl Lu’s first home ownership 🏠 ✨Feb (3): My sister stepped into 40 and fabulously so! ✨Mar (4-5): Karlin published her first book, “The L in Love, is for Lust” aka “petunia”🤣!Additionally, I held a @beyonce Cowboy Carter listening party 🤠 ✨Apr (6-7): BY OGs stepped foot on campus and realized, Toto- we are not in Kansas.. no mo. 🙃🤣 ✨May (8): We pulled off a flawless surprise as my Brother did not know I was tagging along to good ol Kansas City (my first time in KO!). ✨Jun (9): Celebrated my thirty two in the HOU and AGAIN, surprised yet another person @shameikalhsmith 😆🤟🏽 ✨Jul (10): Had a good ol time shaking 🍑 with the girls at the Glo x Meg concert! ✨Aug (11): Welcomed one of the most deserving and supportive individuals into her 30’s in the WINDY city of Chicago 🌃 ✨Sept (12): Experienced my first MLB game in the A- go @braves! (Although my solidarity is with Losssss Padresssss). ✨Oct (13-14) Had our annual Halloween shooter contest and another year that I did not win 😒🤣. ✨Nov (15): Celebrated Mike’s 34th bday in the mountains and sad I did not see any bears 🥲. ✨Oop!.. (16): how’d that get in there?? 😅 Anywhoo.. ✨Dec (17): The QUEEN of Christmas @hokie_hanna received an early Christmas gift this year 💍🎅🏻❤️. ✨(18): We tried doing this AI filter thing on TikTok that I thought would be cute since we’re spread out amongst 3 cities and it’s SUPPOSED TO BE us but… I’ll let you see who is who based in the tags 🤣🤣 ✨(19): And that’s a wrap! Christmas was kinda different this year but we kept the spirit of the spirits watching over us. Oh yeah and BEYONCÉ, girl, pls no tour yet. Give us act 3 😭. All-in-all, 2024 was BUSY, insightful, rewarding, and held lessons. Although with the state of this ghetto country (shout out to club 92%), there are still good things to look forward to in 2025. 🥳🎉 #2024wrapped #yearinreview #2024 #goodbye2024 #welcome2025 #2024dump #newyearSAMEme 🤣
