16 years. From being a feeder kid with big goals and aspirations … To wearing the jersey as a player… To having the honor of coaching the next generation and helping them become better men. South Paulding will always be home. This program raised me, challenged me, and shaped me into the man and coach I am today. I am forever grateful for every lesson, every practice, every locker room talk, and every battle we fought together. Thank you Coach Davis for trusting me, mentoring me, and allowing me to grow under your leadership. You gave me room to learn, fail, adjust, and become better. To every player I’ve coached — thank you for allowing me to lead you and pour into you. I hope I not only helped you grow as a basketball player but also help you become better men. Because like I always say your character and who you are when nobody is watching is who you truly are. The next step for me is to began looking for opportunities to become a head coach or allow myself to be an assistant coach somewhere other than where I am comfortable at. I am really excited about what my future will look like as a coach. I really put my all into this and can’t wait to get to work. This isn’t goodbye… it’s thank you. Forever grateful. 🏀🖤 #2 Out #SSOD

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, but this was a Great Season and a very Special Class, class of 2023 truly remindedthe county what #SSOD is! Ran the county✅ Won 20+ games (22-8)✅ Made it to the region Championship✅ Made State✅ Sweet 16✅ This team has left their stamp on South Paulding Basketball forever We thank you Class of 2023♥️
