This Saturday, Strength Sessions will be on our own. But after that we’ll be together every weekend until the end of the year. Who’s in? Who’s up for building a stronger community by working through our own challenges? 7:30 on Saturday, October 3rd. NIYC. DM for additional details. Or text coach. He’s easy to find. #bestrong #givemore

Shout out to The Give Team for inviting me to the screening of their film covering the 54 mile ruck they did between Selma and Montgomery. And a big thank you to GoRuck for hosting the event at their headquarters in Jacksonville. The weather was properly miserable to help us truly embrace the suck.

Brad Mason is a professional negotiator, community leader, and firm believer that strength is built by doing hard things in service of others. He is the founder and head coach of The Give Team, a youth leadership and endurance program built on a simple belief: No matter how little you have, you always have something to give. Brad also serves on the Board of Directors of New Image Youth Center, supporting young people in Orlando’s Parramore community. A lawyer by training and a Managing Director at Cornerstone Advisors, Brad has spent his career helping financial institutions build stronger relationships and better outcomes. His work in the community is driven by the same principles that guide his leadership: strength, empathy, courage, and love. Most recently, Brad helped lead The Give Team’s 54-mile journey from Selma to Montgomery—an experience captured in the documentary 54 | Something to Give. Angel Santiago is a professional wrestler, documentary filmmaker and the man behind the production of 54 - Something to Give.

Last Friday, TMA Football completed the first-ever Iron Eagle Forge - a one-day physical and mental challenge marking the culmination of the team’s summer training. Each player carried a 20+ lb. ruck through a series of physical challenges and an eight-mile course, while working together to transport more than 500 additional pounds - including a very big log! Through every mile, the team was challenged to demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and unity. We are grateful to Emily McCarthy, Co-Founder and Chief Community Relations Officer of GORUCK, for serving as our guest cadre, along with Brad Mason and members of The Give Team. As the service component of the Iron Eagle Forge, our players raised $1,600 to support The Give Team and its work equipping underserved youth through resilience, goal-setting, and endurance experiences. A special thank-you to A Budget Tree Service for donating the log and to the parents who volunteered to keep our players hydrated throughout the day. The Iron Eagle Forge was about more than physical strength - it was about becoming stronger together and learning to carry the weight for one another. 🦅💪 @emidently @goruck @bradleytmason @thegiveteam @abudgettreeservice

TODAY IS THE PREMIERE!!! - 54: Something to Give tells the story of THE GIVE TEAM’s journey from Selma to Montgomery as youth from Orlando’s Parramore community walk in the footsteps of civil rights heroes. But this is more than a story about retracing history. Along the way, they meet people who lived it, hear stories of courage and sacrifice, and learn that only by understanding the struggles others endured can we truly appreciate how far we’ve come and how much more is possible. As the miles add up, the challenge becomes more than physical. It’s a test of character, resilience, and belief. Nobody ever got stronger doing easy things. That’s true physically, and it’s true culturally. Through shared hardship, the team discovers strengths they didn’t know they possessed, forms bonds that can only be built through struggle, and learns that meaningful change begins when ordinary people choose to do hard things together. Most of all, 54: Something to Give is a story about community, service, and the belief that no matter how little you have, you always have something to give. - #documentary #movie #trailer #civilrights
