TLA Conference happened. And the room confirmed everything. 🧡

230+ people gathered in one space to talk about language, careers, culture, and what it means to build a global future from Africa. And from that day, one thing became very clear;

People don’t just want to learn a language. They want a community. They want connection. They want to know what to DO with the language they’ve worked so hard to build.

That is exactly why we are building The Language Advantage Community.

A space for multilinguals and language lovers to get access to job opportunities, members-only webinars, speaking clubs, discounted events, and people who actually get it.

We’re opening it up to just 100 people first.

Registration opens on the 9th of November.

If TLAC spoke to you, then this community was built for you.

3 weeks ago, we made history 🧡

Africa’s first major multilingual innovation conference came to life in Victoria Island, Lagos and the room was FULL.

200+ young Africans. World-class speakers. Conversations about language, careers, culture, and what it really means to build a global future from this continent.

We took notes and networked until the chairs were empty and the lights went down.

And three weeks later, we’re still feeling it.

TLAC was not just an event. It was a declaration that language matters, that African voices deserve a global stage, and that when we build for this community, the community shows up.

Thank you, once again, to every speaker, partner, attendee, and believer who made August 20 what it was.

Something is in the works for October and we can’t wait to reveal. See you soon.🧡

TLAC 2026✨
WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

As a French tutor and lover of languages, being in that space was such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. Languages truly connect us in ways words alone sometimes cannot.

One of the highlights for me was having the privilege of serving as protocol to the host of Másòyìnbó @eayoruba and my beautiful woman @thegloballarry 🥹❤️.
What an honour and a beautiful opportunity to serve, learn and be part of something so impactful.

And yes, I had to represent beautifully while at it. 😂💅🏽

I came, I learnt, I connected, I served, I made memories… and a time was had! 🥹🔥

And to the host @theglobalfaveee , thank you for yielding to the voice of the Lord!
Thank you for creating a platform that brings language lovers and enthusiasts together.

Looking forward to TLAC 2027!🥳

I came across @theglobalfaveee page in March and found out she was putting together a whole conference dedicated to languages.

And as someone who loves languages, I really wanted to experience it. But I was also excited about the possibility of meeting other language learners, especially people learning languages outside of Korean.

I remember thinking, “I really want to meet @theglobalfaveee and make some new language friends” 😂 and somehow, I ended up doing both. 🥹

I volunteered, met my German friend, connected with other creators and language learners, danced 😂 and just had such a beautiful time at @tla.conference .

It’s crazy to think that all of this started with me simply coming across her page in March. I’m really glad I said yes to this one. 💙✨
