🌻 Penny bites “alleged” cockapoo on the snoot. Eva is a sweet angel and then there’s the rat dog. Penny is my soul dog but my goodness she is evil. She is an emotional manipulator, and just plain rude. #relatablereels #dogsofinstagram #dogmomusa #uk #virginia

Happy National Go Skateboarding Day! I’ve never ridden on a skateboard, but I think they look like fun, especially when you do tricks!🛹

We’ve got momma home with us today! She’s off work because she has to work tomorrow, so we’re enjoying our time with her today!🥰

Playing around with the fancy camera today! I was looking forward to taking pictures of her swimming until I realized I took the SD card out to download this photo 🫠 so alas, here is a dry Sasquatch.

💛What is one typical trait from a breed you would love to have in a future dog?💛

Hi it’s Tequila’s Mom taking over 👩🏻 to answer this TYB challenge from Ryoken
Instinct #RyokenPackTYBPrompts @ryokeninstinct

Personally this is a complex & emotional question for me to answer. I’ve had 4 dogs (Mina, Maya, Hana & Ulala) and 2 currently (Sora & Tequila) Realistically Tequila might be one of my last pups I will have or if dog Mommy Barb says it’s okay possibly one more pup lol.

Mina & especially Hana were very dog reactive and Maya & Ulala were very happy go lucky pups. I never had to worry about them reacting to dogs or humans.

Tequila is very human reactive & selectively dog reactive. I’ve never experienced a dog with so much fear towards people outside her safe circle. I’m learning how to be a good pet parent for her and try to navigate life with her different needs.

If I could have one trait that I desire for a future dog it would be that they have a temperament that is neutral, friendly & or sociable. I would try to get the pup into a training program sooner than later to build up their confidence & adaptability to navigate the big world. So many things I’ve learned from Tequila.

Tequila has taught me so much on how to navigate being a dog Mom to a big feelings & highly energetic working & herding pup. Would I recommend it for everyone…No. These pups are the most energetic, independent, intelligent, loving and loyal pups you will ever meet but be prepared to put in the work to keep them fulfilled mentally & physically.
