Last night’s bridge messages were:

END CHAOS — VOTE BLUE
FIRE GOP — VOTE BLUE

After a complaint that our signs were attached to the bridge, we adapted and used freestanding supports instead.

When counterprotesters arrived, we stayed focused on our message. Police addressed the use of unauthorized motorized bikes on the bridge and later intervened when another individual approached after previously saying he intended to remove our signs.

We also filed a police report concerning a separate online statement that we perceived as threatening.

We will continue exercising our right to peaceful expression, following safety protocols and documenting concerning behavior. We will not be intimidated into silence.

We call on all our Democracy loving friends to join us in this fight!!

Just another completely normal Friday night in Kane County. 😂🇺🇸

Democracy is serious business. Nobody said we had to be serious every minute of it.

They call it “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

You know what? We’d LOVE a cure. 😂

We’d love to stop talking about him.
Stop protesting him.
Stop fact-checking him.
Stop wondering what fresh hell we’re waking up to tomorrow.

We’d love to go back to arguing about normal things — potholes, property taxes, whether ketchup belongs on a hot dog.

But when one man keeps demanding our attention, our silence isn’t the cure.

So until we can safely forget his name…

We’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep making noise.

Trust us, MAGA — nobody wants to be done with Donald Trump more than we do. 🇺🇸
