For the last 2 years, I’ve conducted a project that’s dear to my heart - 28 Days of Celebrating Black Excellence. I sat down and interviewed 28 amazing individuals during the month of February to shine a light on their gifts and accomplishments.

In lieu of the major project I’m working on launching in June, I decided not to do 28 interviews on that big of scale this year. But I still wanted to take some time to celebrate a few DOPE Black leaders and change-makers this month!

Shout out to everyone that is on this list - thank you for lending your talents to the world, thank you for showing up authentically, thank you for standing on the shoulders of the giants before us and crushing your goals. I wanted to let you know that even if some don’t celebrate you publicly, #allthingsloopSEESYOU!

Your determination motivates me. Your success gives me life. And your commitment to elevating our community makes me proud. Thank you for redefining what it means to win while staying true to who you are. Y’all are shining examples of Black excellence personified!

Now who else deserves some praise for the work they’re putting in? Drop some names below of Black leaders, hidden gems, and change agents that inspire you!
