Melbourne’s INDEX CLEAN record label presents the CD album launch of ‘More Is More’ by ALZHEIMER BLANKS - a duo consisting of Richard Costa & Nick Senger, playing their own homespun version of psychedelic electronic music. Said group have enlisted some of their favourite oz acts to share the night with, including READY FOR BATTLE - aussie black/thrash metal of the highest order, M ZULICKI - gorgeous guitar minimalism with the attaque of a 3am conversation, and VAUGHAN & WEDD - indie/no wave that is catchy, weird and above all, theirs. If you have a short attention span or prefer to be challenged rather than coddled, this could be the show for you. Why? Because each act sounds different to the others and all of the music is new. Dig.

Doors are at 8pm. The running order and estimated playing times are:

VAUGHAN & WEDD 8:30pm - 9:00pm

M ZULICKI 9:15pm - 9:45pm

READY FOR BATTLE 10:00pm - 10:40pm

ALZHEIMER BLANKS 11:00pm - 11:40pm

Friday, 20th November at Grace Darling Hotel, upstairs band room.

Pre sale tickets $15 via Humantix. $20 entry on the door.

A departure from what I would normally expect from Joshua Wells @j.a_wells , a stalwart in punk and noise when performing as NERVE. His debut as Training Chamber sees him “trade his punkish, rhythmic urges for something more romantic”.

One of my favourite releases for 2026, Training Chamber - Triple Mirror, is an exploration in seven parts, pulling sounds from solo piano, haunted dub to desert psych. All whilst tinged with a big dose of Gothy moodiness.

I am so excited to see this performed live at The Grace Darling basement this Saturday 24 October. Link in bio ✔️

One of our favourite elements of wedding photography is finding unique locations for casual couples portraits.
We both grew up in Melbourne and love the suburbs, city and bars, restaurants and streets.

There’s now a section on the website dedicated to Melbs, under the film photography tab x
