Straining to mirror the ideal tradwife, Marigold lives in a 1950s-inspired dystopian world where perfection is currency. She builds her life on precisely curated rituals and rehearsed, pretty lies — until even she starts to believe them. As the pressure mounts, the cracks in her facade begin to show.

Check out some of my favorite Audiobook recommendations! Not only are these authors 🔥 but I highly recommend them as audiobooks due to the talent of amazing narrators!

It is a special talent that can bring characters to life through just their voice and allow you to connect with the book.

As a huge audiobook girlie I am telling you these are hits!! I tried to hit multiple genres but there is so many good ones I may have to do a part 2 💛

QOTD: What is one of your favorite audiobooks?

The Traitor of Sherwood Forest is a year old today! For the occasion, I wanted to highlight the incredible audiobook version narrated by @thegracegray !

When I first heard Grace reading Robin and Jane together, it was like the voice I'd had in my head while writing the book had suddenly, magically appeared in real life! Grace's narration is masterful, and she catches every emotional shift, every subtle joke and dangerous edge. She cared so much about the characters and the story, and she captured the book completely.

If you haven't read The Traitor of Sherwood Forest yet, or if you're ready for a re-read, let @thegracegray lead you into the forest! You won't regret it.

(*And an extra shout-out to @prhaudio for being an absolute joy to work with!)

Heartless Hunter by @kristenciccarelli is one of those books that is mentioned in every list of recommendations for fantasy books. When you read one of those books, you just pray that it can stand up to the hype. This book stands up to the hype.

The world is dark and gripping. Ciccarelli does a fantastic job of creating a fantasy world that feels real. She creates the perfect atmosphere for this story. The magic system is interesting as it’s based on the use of blood, which is typically seen as a dark form of magic. The scars add another beautiful artistic layer to it.

The characters were fantastic. Their love story was the epitome of the forbidden love trope. He’s a witch hunter, she’s a witch. They’re also from 2 different social classes. While that is enough to make a good romance, their banter is just enjoyable and definitely brings some much-needed lightness.

Heartless Hunter had me in a chokehold, and I could not get enough. I wanted to keep listening to it every chance I got. It also made me cry, which is always a good sign. As soon as I finished this book, I made sure book 2 was ready for me to hop right into.

@thegracegray did a fantastic job narrating this book. It is dual POV, and she did a great job at not only voicing the female characters but also the male characters. Definitely worth a listen.

TL;DR: Definitely lives up to the hype! Worth the read and the listen. Heartless Hunter is basically if the Salem Witch Trials took place in a fantasy world. Perfect for fans of In the Veins of the Drowning and One Dark Window.

Some exciting news to brighten your Thursday morning!

The Runewitch Saga has been picked up by Audible Studios, which means that we're getting audiobooks for Durlain and Thraga's story 🥳

The Death-Made Prince will be narrated by @thegracegray (who is in fact recording the book as we speak!) You might know Grace from the incredible work she did with Heartless Hunter and A Resistance of Witches, so safe to say she knows her way around rebellious witches with stabby tendencies. I can't WAIT to hear how she'll be bringing Thraga to life, and I hope you are just as excited!

TDMP is coming in audio on March 10th, and the preorder link is up in my bio 💜
