POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As a vegan of nearly 3 decades, I often go into autopilot. What a gentle and cozy reminder our visit to The Gray Barn has been as to WHY. The world can be crazy and dark and cruel to humans and animals. It has always been my goal to go to bed at night and feel as if my thoughts and actions have not contributed to that harm or the hurt.

Thank you Woodstock Farm Sanctuary for your love, your hard work and your dedication ❤️

• happy 4 year (wedding) anniversary to the love of my life ✨ •

To my best friend, I would choose you in every other life time and then some. I can’t imagine doing life without you and I wouldn’t want to. You are the shining light at the end of everyday. You are the first thing I want to see when I wake up (even though it’s usually Peach meowing at me) and the last thing I see when I close my eyes.

I feel truly lucky everyday that I get to call you mine, forever. 🖤

A little something different for Shelter Star Studios!

My mom and I spent a few days this weekend at @thegraybarn at @woodstocksanctuary where we got to spend time with the animals who call the sanctuary home. We met goats, cows, pigs, chickens, and so many other sweet souls, and learned about what circumstances brought them there.

This account is mostly about dogs (and a few cats) looking for their forever homes, but I think the heart of Shelter Star Studios is really just animals and their stories...and these animals have stories, too.

They may not be looking for their forever families, but they deserve just as much love, compassion, and kindness as the animals we share our homes with. Getting to meet them and see them living safe, happy lives was such a special experience, and I wanted to share a little bit of it with you.

Here's to having a little more compassion for all animals 💚

The Gray Barn at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in High Falls just landed on VegNews' list of the best vegan-friendly hotels in the US. 🌱 Every stay includes a vegan breakfast served each morning, views of the Shawangunk Ridge, and the chance to tour Woodstock Farm Sanctuary on weekends. This is proof that Ulster County keeps showing up on the map for all the right reasons. Congratulations to the whole team at The Gray Barn! 👏

What if your next getaway could help rescued animals? 🐐🐮💚 At The Gray Barn at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, guests can wake up to a homemade plant-based breakfast, explore the sanctuary grounds, meet rescued residents and spend the night in one of five rooms—each named after an animal who found a forever home at the sanctuary. 🥹

Nestled in New York’s Hudson Valley, this beautiful vegan inn offers more than just a peaceful getaway. Every stay directly supports the care of nearly 300 rescued farmed animals.

Weekend stays also include a tour of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, giving guests the chance to learn the stories of the animals their visit helps support.

Would you stay here? 🌱

Looking for an easy, one-of-a-kind staycation in the Hudson Valley? We adored our getaway to @thegraybarn in High Falls a little earlier this year. If you love animals, this one is a no brainer! Plus, the vegan breakfast in the morning is scrumptious 🥞❤️

Ok so really this is a video of two of the rescued animals you help when you enter the giveaway: Lora, who was supposed to be a “bait” rabbit, and Frankie, who survived a hoarding case. (For the record, Frankie also had a bag to play with but he wanted Lora’s more 😆)

Every entry is just $10 and goes towards the care of these animals and hundreds more! Make sure you’re entered by July 12th to win a one OR two night stay at our on site inn, @thegraybarn! 🔗 in bio ~~~
