To put it plainly, 2025 was the hardest year of my life.

A restless fatigue set into my bones that no amount of sleep seemed to quell, and even in prolonged stillness, my body continued to yell, “slow down”.

So I did. I slowed nearly to a hault. And in that pause, a surge of unprocessed memories came into focus, like a tidal wave of overwhelming grief crashing into my moored lifeboat until it overturned and sank. I’ve been floating ever since.

This is all to say, it has been a trying time for so many folks, and although I don’t have many words of affirmation to provide, I do know that in all the haze, in all the heartache and hurt and confusion, I have still managed to meet and make dear friends with really incredible and beautiful people. These people provided endless refuge in the form of new memories to hold onto, a buoy in the water, and introduced me to community in its truest sense of the word. Good folks are out there and they make a world of a difference. Find your people and hold onto them.

I made a little collage (inspired by my much more graphic-design-inclined pal @s.ummer) of some of the people, places, pets, and pretty things that provided solace this year.

May 2026 bring some softer, sillier, and sunnier days with it.

WEDDING DAY • Reception Vibes • Last but not least was the part where we danced all night!! I am ashamed to admit that I had *multiple* pre-wedding nightmares that our dance floor would not be lit 😂 but I am happy to report that the dance floor was beyond lit, hyphy, rowdy, and dripping in fake cash from the return of the money-guns 🔥🔥🔥 Big thanks to @lastwaveproductions and @dj_jason_mitchell for the bangerz that slapped all night ❤️‍🔥 We cannot express how happy these photos make us!! Let’s run it back!!
