We’re still wrapping our heads around how amazing Saturday night at @bottomofthehillsf was. Seven years since playing what we thought was the final Septacy show, it was equal parts surreal, emotional, invigorating, and cathartic to be back together playing these songs.

Huge thanks and endless gratitude to everyone who came out and spent a magical night in San Francisco with us. Special thanks to Meredith and everyone at Bottom of the Hill for putting together such an amazing night as we celebrated yours and Justin’s birthdays in style. Shout out to @super_apes and @wife.c0m for kicking ALL THE ASS that night as well.

We’re not quite ready to talk publicly about what comes next, but Saturday night gave us all sorts of energy to take on what comes next.

Thank you.

Nick, Jason, Justin, Zak, and Carolyn

After years in the works, we are beyond excited to release “Bookends (Second Edition)” into the world. This reimagining of our 2017 LP has been reworked from the ground up. Featuring entirely a new mix from our very own @jvsound510, an INCREDIBLE mastering job by @varunytoons, and re-recorded string quartet sections, THIS is how Bookends was meant to sound.

We’ll have plenty more to say about the record in the coming days, but what we’re really interested in is what YOU think of it. Leave a comment. Shoot us a message. Make a post. It all helps and we’d love to hear from you.

You can hear it on your streaming service of choice or purchase it on BandCamp.

Also, don’t forget, we will be returning the stage for the first time in seven years August 16th at @bottomofthehillsf with @wife.c0m and @super_apes celebrating the 40th birthdays of @afarewelldevice and @thriftbitch85. Get your tickets now and come rage with us.

We are BACK! “Of Birth and Death” is the first release from our upcoming reissue, “Bookends (Second Edition)”.

The entire album has been remixed and remastered from the ground up and is now the record it was always meant to be. OB&D is the closing track to the album and has always been a favorite of ours.

Now with string parts newly performed by @arielwangmusic @judycruces @jacobhansenjoseph and @lewispatzner

Shiny new mix by our very own @jvsound510

Mastering by the brilliant @varunytoons

We can’t wait for you to hear the new single.

Ok, here’s the deal. We are just over a month away from our return to the legendary stage at @bottomofthehillsf in celebration of Justin and Meredith both turning 40.

We’re going to be joined by @wife.c0m and @super_apes. To say that we are excited would be a massive understatement.

Tickets are on-sale now and this one WILL sell out so get on that ASAP.

We can’t wait to see you.
