A short solo weekend trip to NYC for Ghostbusters Day ended up being one of my most fun and memorable experiences in recent memory.

I was finally able to meet the real people behind my algorithm fueled Ghostbusting IG feed like @tonytaylortoys @therealnerdbusters @katemckinnonaus @creativegeekery @philadelphiaghostbusters @buffalogbusters @nycghostbusters @age_art @moogliefanclub and so many others…

It was also amazing to see a few Ghostbusters sporting their own 3D printed versions of my designs. I’m so used to seeing this work collecting dust on my shelf at home in Omaha. To see this stuff on the streets is truly inspiring and humbling.

I want to give a special thank you to @ynot.geekout @neolarthytep and the @ghostbustersva team for welcoming me to hang out with their amazing team: the burger on Saturday night was a life saver! And also thanks to @eddie_harkness for the great conversations and keeping me company amidst the day’s craziness!

Day 4 in NYC was the big one. Ghostbusters Day 2026 and wow what a day! After an early brekkie, we were down to the Firehouse. Sub tropical temperature and flightsuits don’t necessarily go hand in hand but when the director of the last movie tells you the night before you have to wear a flightsuit, you gotta do what the director says…right?

It was an honour & a privilege to meet my friend Joe Cirillo, to give him a small token of my appreciation and take the opportunity to catch up. Joe is the most kind & generous person you could hope to meet. A big part of turn day is meeting friends from all over the world, sharing stories & taking pictures which passed the morning until celebrations commenced at noon.

We were honoured to be the first people to be invited inside and were front row as Jason & Gil honoured those groups who had raised so much money for charity & recognised all the fantastic work by Starlight. Next, the big reveal and the upcoming Netflix animation Ghostbusters Nightshift. I cannot wait!!

More photos, catching up, laughs, smiles & patch/card swapping then took us to the highlight of the day. Thanks to my incredible friend Matt and his super kind friends at Ecto 1 New Jersey, we got to answer the call! With blue lights illuminated, siren blaring and crowds gathered outside Ghostbusters HQ we took off down Varick St and into Manhattan. The chance to cruise the streets of New York, to wave at cheering New Yorkers lining the streets taking pictures was an experience that will stay with me forever. We were Ghostbusters, in NYC, on Ghostbusters Day!!

So as another incredible day comes to a close I pinch myself and thank all the wonderful people, my friends, my Ghostbusters family, who helped make the most incredible memories with me today.

We’re the best, we’re the beautiful, we’re the only Ghostbusters!! 👻

Met some more artists at @concradle yesterday and found a copy of @aureliovoltaire’s book at one of the booths. Special thanks to @thegreenstreamghostbusters for letting me use the neutrona wand on the proton pack. Also, don’t forget to check out @portable_hole. Hope to see you guys next year.

Sincerely yours,

🦸‍♀️🦹🦾🚀 Holy cosplays and crossovers!

The 2026 Cradle Con is now in the books and it was like the Wild West with tons of crazy mash-ups and cosplayer from all over pop-culture! Of course there were also the rows and rows of artists, writers, builders, and vendors to boot. 😅 I’m exhausted.

Here are just a few of the many pics and vids we got during the show. So much more to come!

📺 Stay tuned! Same Bat time. Same Bat channel.

HOLY HELL!! Let me tell you about mail call today.... Received my Ghostbusters belt Gizmo built by Matt Baker of @thegreenstreamghostbusters had the great pleasure of meeting Matt in person and him working with us at @chesapeakeghostbusters during @awesomecons where he worked the booth with us for the whole weekend! Some of his gear was absolutely legendary and I got to see one of these belt gizmos in person. He uses the kit done by Ghost Lab 42 who is known throughout the community. What makes this build even more special is Matt was able to hook me up with actual Nixie tubes for the bulbs that work! This will absolutely be one of my treasured GB items! Thank you again Matt and stay tuned for the unboxing and demo videos!
