if you are softer
than before
they came.
you have been loved.
— nayyirah waheed

Thank you @ishaspointedvibes for creating a world where loss and longing were landscapes to explore, not escape. Where grief became grace, and vulnerability the bravest expression of the heart. There is something deeply healing in surrendering to the darkness — not because it disappears, but because dancing with our shadows changes us. We emerge softer.

Your choreography leaves me braver, more tender.

Thank you for holding a space where we learned to trust ourselves in a language words could never fully contain. This piece will stay with me — not only in my body, but in the soft power of my spirt.

First of all … The urge to dance to this song has been building since soooo long. Heard it as a kid. But the beauty of this melody is realized only now!

💃: @thegroovyengineer
🎶: Ariyathe Ariyathe by @kschithra & Jayachandran

Secondly,
#danceday
I began with Bharatnatyam as a kid. Then did a bit of hip hop in college. And then I lost touch with dance for years. The last 2 years have brought me close to so many individuals passionate about dance. And in this I have rediscovered my love for dancing.

This video is an ode to that rediscovered passion. It’s from someone who, until a few months ago, would not have taken the effort to learn a routine from a reel and replicate it. Thanks to the beautiful people part of all those dance workshops ❤️❤️
