🌭🏆GLIZZY GLADIATOR CONTEST🏆🌭

When we were originally planning the WMD Bestie Birthday Bash we knew we wanted to feed everyone and hotdogs were the easiest way to feed 100+ people.

The hype for the hotdogs was so real! We had no idea everyone would go crazy over some glizzies.

In the middle of the bash, between two bands, we had a hotdog-eating contest. Six people battled it out to see who could eat the most hotdogs (and buns!) in five minutes.

Victor was named the 2026 Glizzy Gladiator and ate a total of 8 without hurling 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭

Any hotdogs that were not consumed during the bash, were donated to the solidarity fridge and non of them went to waste 🥲

This might be something we have to include in every bash from now on…

Again, huge shoutout to @thehasknots for grilling all of those wieners 😭

We want to give a huge mega shout out to @thehasknots

We first met The Has Knots at Jeannie’s Memorial back in January of 2025 and we were blown away by their raw energy and female rage. This was a band we have loved since the very beginning of WMD and we have been dying to play another show with them since.

Needless to say, we were so incredibly thrilled they could join the band’s second birthday bash and they kicked off the night with their unrelenting energy and fast paced songs. We love how absolutely unapologetic and brutal Ariel is as a front-person and cannot wait to play with them again.

Not only are they great musicians, but they are amazing people and HUGE champions of the scene.

We love you, The Has Knots.
Thank you for everything.

If you’re not following them yet, you should be!
Also, huge huge thank you for grilling over 400 hotdogs for everyone 🙏🏻

Our third tour has officially started with a huge bang, celebrating the WMD’s 2nd birthday.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, played, helped host and had fun with us. It was seriously the BEST event we could have asked for. It’s still surreal that the band has been able to create such a warm and supportive community in such a short period of time. We are so grateful!

Day two we spent ripping up an DIY art gallery with equally awesome bands and crowd! We genuinely love coming back to our home state of New Mexico and Albuquerque will always be a stop we make. We love you guys.

Day three we spent in our hometown visiting family and eating as much green chile as possible.

Tonight, we will see you in Amarillo Texas! And Texas will officially be the tenth state we’ve played in. 🥹
