Happy New Moon | May you find internal harmony 🙏🏽

I love this reflection on the choices we make to protect our inner peace. What makes it powerful is that these aren’t rules you impose on others, but personal practices that help you live more consciously.

What are your ways to be the guardian of your inner peace? ✨🙏🏽

10 friends. One start line. Countless memories. 🩵

PIUT30 reminded me that the best part of trail running isn’t just the mountains—it’s the people you get to share them with.

Thanks for an incredible weekend, @asicstrail. ⛰️✨

Prana Mama is all about creating high prana foods that support the physical body but also deeply nourish the subtle energy body of the new mama.

Mama has just gone through a massive pilgrimage - traversing many inner planes of transformation. She has now transitioned from maiden to mother and with that change, there needs to be deep integration. Part of the integration puzzle is NOURISHMENT. On all levels.

Mama needs quiet, she needs space, peace, reflection, connection and she needs nourishing foods that will not only support the physical recovery but also nourish her spirit and support her inner vitality.

Our subtle energy bodies are so much more sensitive to the life around us than we might realise. Every stimulus, experience & event affects the very fabric of our emotional world and our energetic/spiritual ones too.

Prana-rich foods help to energise, reorganise and soothe our subtle energetic systems so that we may meet life with responsiveness (instead of reactivity), peacefulness & receptivity.

When we are adequately nourished, we are able to meet the demands of life with a clear mind, an open heart and a capacious nervous system.

Postpartum is one of the times in a woman’s life when she most needs nourishment and support.

A well nourished mother, is better able to love those around her from a loved inner space.

Homemade foods, filled with fresh energy, love & clear intention based on Ayurvedic & Macrobiotic healing modalities.

With love,
Prana Ma

Our chicken broths are cooked low & slow for many hours to extract the most benefits from our broth brewing process.

Broths are one my favourite things to make - the amount of nurturance and slow, mindful, loving energy that goes into them makes them a staple in our household as a must-have in our fridge (and bellies) each week.

WHY THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT POSTPARTUM:

This broth is jam packed with healing herbs and spices such as:
• rosemary
• sage
• thyme
• oregano
• fresh turmeric
• fresh ginger
• cumin, fennel, coriander seeds & black pepper
• a splash of apple cider to extract more collagen from the bones

Chicken soups and broths have been used extensively in past generations - in cultures all over the world over - particularly when people are sick or recovering from physical injury or even if someone is dealing with grief, depression, emotional transitions or big life changes. It is easy on digestion, supports gut health, provides an extensive array of health benefits and is OJAS-promoting ✨

Chicken soup/broth is comforting as it soothes the nervous system and balances a busy mind. It provides hydration and important minerals and electrolytes. This makes it a must-have during early stages of postpartum as well as a great ally for lactation time 💛.

The mixture of spices and herbs adds important micronutrient properties which only adds to its already anti-inflammatory nature 🫚 not to mention the beneficial boost of amino acids/proteins which are vital in helping us to repair, regenerate and build anew.

It can be consumed at any time of day - the most beneficial times are first thing in the morning after your glass of warm/hot water or before bed to soothe the nervous system and help you wind down after the days stimulation. But any other time of day works great too - a late morning or afternoon pick-me-up or as a full meal with added shredded chicken and carrot (that come with the delivery).

With love,
Prana Mama
