There’s always so much more to a cover shoot than the final photograph. The getting ready, the conversations, the laughter and all those little moments in between that make the day so special.

And what a gorgeous team to spend it with!

I’m so pleased to see Lisa on the cover, sharing such an important and personal story about advocating for ourselves, her breast cancer recovery and why food is her love language.

💪 MENOPAUSE? LET’S GET STRONG! 💗

Did you know that you can build strength without even leaving your bedroom?! 🏋️‍♀️

As we mark Menopause Awareness Month, I’m sharing my latest @topsanteuk column all about why STRENGTH TRAINING is so important during perimenopause, menopause and beyond!

Hopefully you managed to grab your copy of October’s issue! After the huge honour of being their September cover girl, I’m loving being a regular fitness columnist and sharing my Feel Good Fitness tips with you all! 🥰

I hit menopause at 46, and one of the things I’m most passionate about is helping women understand that getting stronger isn’t just about how we look, but how we FEEL and function as we age. ❤️

Strength training can help us:

💪 Build and maintain muscle

🦴 Support stronger bones

🔥 Improve body composition

🧠 Boost confidence and mental wellbeing

💫 Reduce risks of chronic illnesses

❤️ Stay strong, capable and independent as we age!

And the best part? You don’t need a gym or hours of free time!

Here are SIX simple strength exercises you can do in the comfort of your own bedroom, even in your pyjamas! 😂

1️⃣ Bicep curls

2️⃣ Shoulder press

3️⃣ Bent-over rows

4️⃣ Lunges + optional bicep curls

5️⃣ Glute bridges

6️⃣ Chest press

Try just 10 reps of each exercise, using light dumbbells or even water bottles to get started (like I demo in my YouTube workouts!) That’s your little STRENGTH SNACK done! 💪

As you get stronger, gradually increase your weights, repetitions or sets to keep challenging your muscles.

Remember, it’s never too late to start, and every little bit of movement counts! ❤️

World Menopause Day is a powerful reminder to lean in to who you’re becoming in this season! 💥

She deserves to be celebrated and she deserves to be surrounded by so much love ❤️

That’s exactly what @pauselive last weekend felt like - being surrounded by hundreds of incredible, unapologetic women - and honestly, it was the ultimate reminder of what midlife is actually about. 👌🏻

It’s about embracing who we’re becoming. Celebrating our strength, laughing through the chaotic days, and navigating the shifts, and hormone struggles together instead of suffering in silence. 👯‍♀️

For too long, women have been expected to navigate this transition quietly. But when you get a room full of us together, sharing our stories and taking control of our health, the energy is OFF THE CHARTS. 🤩

We’re not shrinking into the background, and we’re not doing this alone. We’re lifting each other up, building resilient bodies, and owning this next chapter on our own terms. 💪🏻

To every single woman out there fighting for her health, leaning into her strength, and stepping into her power: I see you, I’m celebrating you, and I’m right here in your corner. 🩷

Fourth year at Pause Live… and honestly, it’s starting to feel like walking into a familiar club full of brilliant women. 🩷

The squeals of laughter, the hugs in the green room, the “OMG, it’s been ages!” moments… and the feeling that you’re surrounded by women who just GET IT.

Pause Live has such a wonderful atmosphere. Yes, there are incredible conversations, inspiring speakers and so much to learn, but for me, it’s also about the connections. The new faces you meet, the women you instantly click with, and the friendships that deepen year after year. I’ve found some true ride-or-die friends through this community, and that’s something really special.

I was on stage interviewing this year, so I didn’t take nearly enough photos (although I’ve LOVED seeing everyone else’s posts and reliving it all through your eyes).

And if you didn’t make it into my photos, PLEASE know it absolutely doesn’t mean you’re not hugely valued by me. I just don’t think anyone is going to sit through a three-hour reel of my favourite women 🤣🤣

Already feeling grateful for this wonderful community of women. Here’s to the conversations, the connections, the belly laughs and the friendships that make Pause Live so much more than just an event. 🩷

What a day! @pauselive 2026 was a blast! 💥
Great talks esp from Oct @topsanteuk cover stars @nadiasawalha and @fabulouspharmacist on the new-for-this-year neurodiversity stage talking with @michellefordofficial about ADHD in midlife.

I was nodding / laughing in agreement at Nadia’s description of how painful it can be to hang up clothing as opposed to throwing it on the floor (the ‘floordrobe’ as adhd-ers call it) and I’m going to try her ‘first thought, second thought’ tip too 💭

Lovely to also see former TS cover star and columnist @cherryhealey and a swathe of other lovely ladies inc my dancing queen @gorgeousfifties 💃🏻 (and token man @joewarneruk - ok he wasn’t the only man but they were vastly outnumbered!)

Oh and I got up on stage again to perform my Katy Perry cover… more on that later! 🎤

Coming back down from Cloud 9 ☁️ ⭐️

I’m still coming down from cloud nine after Pause Live on Saturday! 💜🙌 @pauselive

What an absolutely mind blowing day, and one that left me feeling incredibly humbled. 🥺

To have ladies come up to me and say that the support groups have literally saved them, and another lady tell me how much my Instagram page has helped her, honestly, I can’t tell you how much that means to me. 🥹💜

It’s moments like these that remind me exactly why I started supporting women all those years ago.

I want to reiterate that I’m not medically trained, but I do have over 14 years of lived experience, along with menopause training, and I’m always happy to talk about anything and everything when it comes to menopause.

I’ve been there myself. I know how lonely, frightening and overwhelming this journey can be, especially when you don’t know where to turn.

So please, if you’re struggling or simply need someone to listen, reach out. And if I can’t help you, I will certainly do my very best to direct you to someone who can.🙌

No woman should feel she’s navigating menopause alone. That’s why community and supporting one another is so incredibly important to me.

And to every single lady who came over to say hello on Saturday, thank you. You’ve reminded me just how much a little support can mean. 💜🙌

@pauselive 2026, WHAT A DAY! 🔥🎉 Loved every second of being an ambassador for the UK’s largest women’s health event.

Yesterday, the girls and I hopped into London to spend the day at Pause Live - and I am so glad we did! Of course, I had to bring a few copies of Project 80 (Amazon best-seller! 💃) along for the ride. She definitely loved the limelight 😝
