The secret love child of Wonder Woman & Ludwig Van Beethoven. I was raised by a pack of lions & a piano. Breaking rules. Making music. Getting weird.

At the atomic level, the electrons and nuclei within atoms are constantly in motion. All matter is composed of tiny particles constantly vibrating at different frequencies, essentially acting like waves of energy rather than solid objects. In an interview with Maya Angelou, she describes words falling through the air born from our mouths and landing on objects in the space around us. I like to picture the vibrations of sound rippling through us, the couch, the carpet, etc. I believe that objects hold energy and connect us to something that transcends time. Holding something powerful connects me to my body and encourages presence.

Being able to play the Selmer Mark VI alto of Helen’s late mother on this album was an absolute honor. The title track of @thehellakeys Helen Orzel’s newly released “Baby Bird” is an amazing tribute to Helen’s mother and the words she heard growing up. After her passing, Helen was surprised to discover that her mother had been playing alto saxophone in a jazz big band and she inherited this incredible instrument. Contributing to my friend’s project with this precious treasure full of her mother’s creative energy was a truly magical experience that I’ll never forget. It’s such a beautifully personal and honest album that is so unique. There is classical influence, cussing, odd meter jazz, gay shit, voice acting by me that is pretty bad, gospel inspired harmony, epic singing, a great band with the sweetest of hearts, etc. Just check out the album wherever you do that and SUPPORT HELEN she’s a gem. Send her money and cat memes PLS

@thehellakeys and I went to @yarsa_nepalese_cuisine during my visit to San Francisco the other week and we were blown away by the food. So much that we ate so much of the food before I started filming but hopefully you get an idea of how good this place is. When you’re in San Francisco, please visit @yarsa_nepalese_cuisine and order everything.

@thehellakeys took me to this amazing Nepalese restaurant @yarsa_nepalese_cuisine in North Beach before I leave San Francisco. It was heavenly. And we got in a night walk while the fog rolled in for the night.
