We are working on a day intensive for @theholisticollective today so I figured it was only fitting to do a little #TBT to the web design we did for them. 🖤

And special shout-out to @bethanysaraa for her help on this project. 🤍

want to know something super cool???

are bodies are constantly recreating themselves. new cells with every bite of food, every good nights sleep, etc. so that means that every single moment, we have the opportunity to make a new choice.
to go for a walk. eat a bowl of blueberries. whatever this looks like for you.
WE get to create our happiest most vibrant best selves!! EVERY single moment is an opportunity to choose again 🤍
give yourself grace and keep creating what it is that you want. show yourself some love in some way today not to change what you look like or because you feel like you have to, but do it because you deserve to feel your happiest most vibrant authentic self. u got this!! 🌞🌸🍉🍓

✨ Prenatal Wellness ✨
—— swipe to see more!

A few more things I would like to add are important foods to include in your prenatal diet

•Asparagus
- contains a significant amount of folate

•Kale
- FILLED with nutrients, leafy greens also contain iron which is a key nutrient during pregnancy

•Strawberries
- contains folate, vitamin C & fiber

•Walnuts
- 1 ounce contains 4grams of protein, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus and magnesium

•Chia seeds
- rich in fiber, calcium, potassium and magnesium

•Salmon
- protein packed with DHA.

•Lentils
- one of the best plant based protein sources. They also contain iron + folate. Research shows lentils significantly decreases our chances of developing diabetes.

•Broccoli
- good source of vitamins C,K,and A. Also contains folate, magnesium, choline and calcium

One myth I would like to touch on is the “I’m eating for 2” this is untrue and dangerous. Yes we are growing a baby and we are the babies sole source of nutrition but many women use this to overeat during pregnancy, leading to poor nutrition and often times too much weight gain. It’s important to eat until satisfied. Making small adjustments to your meals for example adding more sides of veggies rather than heading back for seconds on the noodles is an easy + effective way to increase your intake of vitamins and minerals! Of course, treat yourself here and there with more of the indulgent cravings but not overeating🤍
