A little glimpse of my stay at @thehotel_sl — ocean views, slow mornings, warm afternoons and the prettiest coastal setting. ✨

A little reminder…

You’re allowed to slow down.

Stay somewhere beautiful.

Take your time.

Let the bath run a little longer.

Watch the sun go down.

Wake up slowly.

Romanticize the little things.

Enjoy every moment.

Nourish the body.

Enjoy the view.

Forget what time it is.

Celebrate the little things.

Be soft with yourself.

And leave with a full heart. 🤍

Skip the cookie-cutter check-in for your next trip to #SriLanka.

The boutique hotels offer a memorable stay with its design-forward approach.

So which one are you staying at next?

My first time in Sri Lanka and easily one of my favourite trips ever 🇱🇰❤️
This itinerary was built around slow travel, beautiful views and actually enjoying the destination instead of rushing through it. Every place in this itinerary is somewhere I’d happily go back to!🥰

Ella 🏔️
One of the most beautiful hill stations I’ve visited. The hike was the best experience of my life! And a beach club with the view of the mountain? Hell yeah!😍
The whole mountain-town vibe, especially around the main street is so lovely, with amazing restaurants and food. Definitely a place I’d keep coming back to🫶🏻

Arugam Bay 🌊
A completely different side of Sri Lanka — super hippie, carefree and laid-back. It’s a surfer’s town, so perfect if you want to surf or just soak in the vibes. Such a unique experience!

Hiriketiya 🌴
Easily one of my favourites! It’s literally PARADISE — it’s a tiny, beautiful town where you can slow down, enjoy the vibes and do absolutely nothing. I could easily spend 10 days here just relaxing✨

Ahangama 🌅
The kind of place you go to when you just want to switch off, chill and recharge. There are so many beautiful cafes, restaurants and spots to spend the evening with good food and drinks. It has the perfect balance of relaxed days and fun nights.

Weligama 🏄🏻‍♀️
Such a fun stop, especially if you want to learn how to surf. The surf instructors are so friendly and welcoming! It has such a warm and social and chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay a longer.

Mirissa 🌴
I didn’t get to stay here separately this time, but I definitely will next time! Mirissa has so much to offer, with beautiful beaches, cafés, restaurants and plenty to explore. It deserves more than just a quick visit and I’d love to experience it at a slower pace next time.
