I’m so blessed that @billybassnelson - the original FUNKADELIC and I had so much time together - from 1995 when I first started coming around @yolikegeorge #pfunk with my SUV for extended periods of time - @thehourchild @gabegonzalez + treylewd + whoever was along for the ride. Then we lived together in Pittsburgh. So many other details and laughs and music that we made. Our story isn’t to be told in one day after his passing it is to be part of the funk chronicles told every week of the year for years to come. If you’re a fan of @soulclapofficial or @fsqofficial you might not know that we put Billy deep in the mix for original productions and for remixes like @kraakandsmaak or @lifeonplanets .. I haven’t even done a full summary of all the music work we did together from 2015-2025 … Billy also led my first solo record which we recorded at @nagualsite studio Greenpoint ..

April snows ❄️ will always remind me of @thehourchild and his transition … this was a storm in 2018 about that time, in Ithaca, New York
